Obama Warns Of Norway Style Lone Wolf attack In USA On/Near 10th Anniversary of 9/11

President Obama, with the help of the corporate controlled media, has warned/threatened a Jared Loughner or Oslo Norway style attack on the 10th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks to be carried out by a so-called lone wolf terrorist. (Translation: White European Male)

Considering the fact that it is documented history that lone wolf terrorists are usually mentally unstable patsies for some larger operation, this warning from Obama should send up red flags throughout the country.

As the corporate media feeds the terrorism fear without so much as questioning the official line, the people of America are slowly losing their most fundamental rights all in the name of security.

Our intelligence agencies monitor the public like never before and the idea that they are unable to catch terrorists planning attacks is complete hogwash yet we are fed this nonsense on a daily basis.

On the tenth anniversary of 9/11 we should all be on the look out for some sort of terrorist attack and if it does happen we must remember that the real culprits will be the global crime syndicate that openly runs our country not Muslims in a cave or a lone right wing extremist.

Obama Orders Amnesty - Admin says it will conduct case-by-case review on deportation

Washington (CNN) -- In a move that could shake up the U.S. immigration system, the Department of Homeland Security is going to begin reviewing all 300,000 pending deportation cases in federal immigration courts to determine which individuals meet specific criteria for removal and to focus on "our highest priorities."

DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano said the review will enhance public safety. "Immigration judges will be able to more swiftly adjudicate high priority cases, such as those involving convicted felons," Napolitano wrote Thursday in a letter to assistant majority leader Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Illinois, and 21 other senators including Indiana Republican Richard Lugar.

In April, Durbin and Lugar sent a letter to Napolitano asking her to stop deportations of immigrant students who could earn legal status under the the DREAM Act -- legislation that would give children of illegal immigrants a path to citizenship through military service or college education.

Napolitano said the Obama administration has frequently pointed out "it makes no sense to expend our enforcement resources on low-priority cases, such as individuals... who were brought into this country as young children and know no other home."

Officials say immigration court dockets are clogged, putting public safety in jeopardy, costing money, resources and time. They want to see DHS enforcement resources diverted from illegal immigrants who don't have criminal records to individuals who pose a threat to public safety and national security.

A senior administration official, who requested anonymity because details of the policy change had not yet been announced, told reporters 79% of deportations involve people without a criminal record -- people who have just entered the country illegally or had been previously deported and re-entered.

Napolitano said the new policy change would not negate reforming immigration laws and "will not alleviate the need for passage of the DREAM Act," which would give legal status to illegal immigrant students who attend college or join the military. She added, "President Obama has called the DREAM Act the right thing to do for the young people it would affect, and the right thing to do for the country."

But the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), which advocates changing policies to decrease the number of immigrants coming to the United States, said in a statement on its website that the action by the Obama administration "amounts to an administrative amnesty and a sweeping overhaul of the nation's immigration policy without approval by Congress."

FAIR President Dan Stein said in the statement, "In essence, the administration has declared that U.S. immigration is now virtually unlimited to anyone willing to try to enter and only those who commit violent felonies after arrival are subject to enforcement."

Under the new process, a DHS and the Department of Justice working group will develop specific criteria to identify low-priority removal cases that should be considered for prosecutorial discretion, including cases with minors, the elderly, pregnant and nursing women, victims of serious crimes, veterans and members of the armed services and individuals with serious disabilities or health problems.

Durbin expressed support for the Obama administration announcement, saying in a written statement that it was "the right decision" specifically as it relates to students.

"These students are the future doctors, lawyers, teachers and maybe, senators, who will make America stronger," Durbin stated. "We need to be doing all we can to keep these talented, dedicated, American students here, not wasting increasingly precious resources sending them away to countries they barely remember."

Durbin's statement added that when reviews of individual cases result in cases being closed, those individuals "will be able to apply for certain immigration benefits, including work authorization."

Durbin's statement did not elaborate on that aspect of the policy change, beyond saying such applications for benefits would be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

The National Day Laborer Organizing Network, an organization advocating improved rights for day laborers, praised the move. "The administration had earned the President the title of 'Deporter-in-Chief.' We hope the statement today announcing review of the current caseload of victims of indiscriminate enforcement is carried forth," the group said in a news release.

Concealing Black Hate Crimes

Racism: Across the U.S., mobs of black youths are organizing on Facebook to loot stores and beat whites. Yet none dare call the "flash mob" attacks hate crime, least of all the attorney general.

The Associated Press is reporting that at least one of those arrested in the Wisconsin State Fair beatings said the mob was targeting whites, making it a hate crime. Where is Eric Holder's civil rights division? About this epidemic of black-on-white assaults, we hear nothing.

At the Milwaukee fairgrounds, dozens of black teens suddenly appeared, knocking over children, looting the Midway games and stealing prizes. They pulled whites from cars, flung them to the ground and punched and kicked them in the face. At least 18 people were injured, including some cops.

A similar beat-down took place August 2010 at the Iowa State Fair. Organized as "beat whitey night," bands of black teens targeted white kids, fracturing one of their skulls. Then the thugs swarmed police, hitting one cop from behind and busting both his eye sockets.

Earlier this month in Philadelphia, marauding black flash mobs beat and robbed tourists and other innocent bystanders. Several people were hospitalized, including one man with a fractured skull.

Mayor Michael Nutter, Philly's second black mayor, said enough is enough. In an angry lecture from the pulpit of Mount Carmel Baptist Church, he blasted the punks, saying "you have damaged your own race."

Similar attacks are under investigation in Los Angeles, Chicago, Cleveland and Washington, D.C., where our first black president remains mum.

Why isn't Obama equally disgusted by the black pack attacks? Perhaps because his own church glamorized the thug culture. His mentor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, told his South Side Chicago flock that those committing black-on-black crime are "fighting the wrong enemy." During the 2008 presidential campaign, Geraldine Ferraro condemned Wright for preaching to young blacks that "it's OK to beat up on white people."

Imagine if the flash-mob victims were black instead of white. Holder would have launched a special investigation. With the races reversed, he just shrugs. In so many words he has said blacks are incapable of hate crimes because of their victimhood.

"There is a pervasive hostility toward (prosecuting) these types of cases," said Christian Adams, a civil rights attorney who quit after Holder refused to prosecute the New Black Panther Party for intimidating white Philly voters in 2008.

To Holder, blacks are the permanent victims. But his department's own data say otherwise. In most cases of interracial crimes, the victim is white and the perp is black. Black criminals choose white victims 45% of the time, while whites victimize blacks 3% of the time. More than twice as many whites are murdered by a black than cases of a white murdering blacks.

And despite underreporting, blacks commit a disproportionate share of hate crimes. In 2009, almost 20% of known offenders of hate crimes were black, even though blacks make up just 13% of the population.

Holder presupposes all problems afflicting the black community come from the outside — racism, poverty, etc. Nutter make no excuses for bad behavior.

"Take those God-darn hoodies down, especially in the summer," the Philly mayor scolded black youths. "Pull your pants up and buy a belt 'cause no one wants to see your underwear or the crack of your butt."

He added: "If you walk into somebody's office with your hair uncombed and a pick in the back, and your shoes untied, and your pants half-down, tattoos up and down your arms and on your neck, and you wonder why somebody won't hire you? They don't hire you 'cause you look like you're crazy."

Candidate Obama vowed to stand up for a civil rights unit that enforces laws "fairly and justly." If his attorney general doesn't pursue these black mob cases as hate crimes, punishing the offenders, he risks giving white racists an excuse to respond in kind.

Despite the White House feverishly working to spin the news for we-the-proletariat — and hinting that “it really means nothing” — I suspect there is much celebrating going on behind the scenes. Since ratings were established, this is the first time in History that the United States of America has been downgraded. This is unprecedented in our history. Therefore, Obama is partying hardier than ever. After his Chicago $35,000 per plate birthday bash extravaganza — largely on the US taxpayer — his latest fundraiser planned for next Thursday in New York is designed to bring in $71,600 per plate. And all of this is transpiring while he is on a bus tour — we believe illegally on the US taxpayer — campaign for 2012. Note: As our leftist courts and supplicant US Congress support his every move, no one does anything about Obama’s increasingly criminal behaviors.

The reality is that in order to establish a Marxist-Leninist or Marxist-Mao Utopian parasitic government to destroy the middle-class (who will then in their newly-imposed slavery support the elites) the host country must be utterly destroyed. Said country can then be rebuilt (i.e. “transformed”) into the image of “The One” or The Ones.” In this, I suspect Obama has far exceeded his own training and his Master’s timeframe with what he has wrought upon our country… and the world. Obama has destroyed our health care system. Obama is in the process of removing our Bill of Rights. Obama has stolen trillions of our dollars and sent them overseas… some to locations and entities that still remain secret. He has taken over our water and food distribution (shades of Stalin and every other despotic ruler here!). Obama is increasingly talking publicly about “the problems of democracies.” Obama’s Operation Gunwalker/Gunrunner — ”Fast and Furious” was specifically designed to remove legally-obtained guns from US citizens by blaming the planned murderous outcome of the program on gun shop owners and the US citizenry at large. The Obama-Holder syndicate bosses were caught in their criminal scheme… but, they’re still continuing their plan to dissolve the Second Amendment (and therefore all) .

It has, also, now been revealed that the Obama syndicate and the Sinaloa Drug Cartel has a “business relationship.” In return for “favors,” the Obama syndicate (aka the “US Obama Government”) allowed the drug cartel to bring tons of cocaine into the USA with encouragement and without consequences. Note: Remember Obama has said his favorite movie is “The Godfather” and our Southern border still remains wide open. Still wonder why?

Now, Obama and the Marxist Democrats (remember that the Democrats took over both Houses of Congress in January 2007) have destroyed the economy… yet, they are still demanding we give them more! It is obvious that there is a growing feeling of frustration and even anger among supporters of the Democratic Party with its performance over the past two years.

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, speaking for the labor movement, strongly expressed this unhappiness in some recent speeches.

I am disappointed too with some aspects of the Obama administration’s domestic and foreign policy.

But I don’t forget that this administration governs in a very hostile political environment in which the right is laboring overtime to wreck its initiatives at every step of the way.

In addition, there are the structural pressures of governing in a capitalist economy and state.

Then there are conservative pressures coming from some congressional Democrats and members of the administration.

Everything can’t be explained away by the objective context, however. The president and his administration can be faulted for a number of policy decisions.

But the main question from a strategic point of view is this: Does it make any difference, from the standpoint of the class and democratic struggles, which party gains political ascendency?

Some – though not the labor movement nor other mass organizations of the American people – say no, it doesn’t.

Some even go a step further and say a Democratic victory creates popular illusions, which in turn weaken the people’s struggles. And the only way out of this vise is to form a third party now.

Communists don’t agree with either one of these views. In our view, the differences between the two parties of capitalism are of consequence to class and democratic struggles.

Neither party is anti-capitalist, but they aren’t identical either. Differences exist at the levels of policy and social composition. And despite the many frustrations of the past two years, the election of Barack Obama was historic and gave space to struggle for a people’s agenda.

If, on the other hand, the Republicans had been victorious in 2008 the character of class and democratic struggles would have unfolded very differently. Our movement would have been on the defensive from Day One, the Democrats would be running for cover, and the Republicans would have an unfettered hand in their efforts to liquidate the welfare state, roll back the rights revolution of the 1930s and 1960s, and crush the people’s movement – labor in the first place.

As for the wisdom of a third party, we have always advocated the formation of an independent people’s party at the core of which are the working class and labor, racially and nationally oppressed people, women, youth, immigrants, seniors, gay and straight, etc. It is essential for any deep-going social change. But its realization depends on more than our desire, more than our political-ideological attitude. Millions who have to be at the core of this party still operate under the umbrella of the Democratic Party, albeit increasingly in an independent fashion.

Moreover, to separate ourselves at this moment from these forces would be contrary to our strategic policy of building maximum unity against right-wing extremism now and in next year’s elections.

Now that doesn’t mean that we give up our advocacy of an independent people’s party, but we also understand that its formation is dictated by concrete political realities and strategic necessities. Nor does it mean that we hit the mute button when the Obama administration takes positions that we don’t agree with. Just as we show no hesitation in supporting, and fighting for, the administration’s progressive initiatives, we should have no compunction about taking issue with the administration when it takes positions that we don’t agree on.

Which is what we have done.

When someone says we are not critical of the administration what they usually mean is that our criticism isn’t as sweeping and categorical as they would like.

We make criticisms, but we do it in a certain context and with a certain strategic objective in mind. We are keenly aware of the fact that the agenda of the far right is to bring this administration and country to its knees, with a heavy dose of racism, lies and economic sabotage, setting the stage for a full blown return to power of the most reactionary, racist, anti-labor, anti-women, homophobic and militarist grouping in U.S. politics.

We want no part of that. We don’t have any illusions about the Democratic Party, but we don’t have any illusions about the Republican Party either.

Furthermore, we are also aware of the undeniable fact that no other party besides the Democratic Party stands a chance of beating the GOP next year.

I’m sure Obama will win in 2012 now.. yeah right.

GOP Rep warns Obama of impeachment if US defaults

A Republican member of the House of Representatives has declared that President Barack Obama could be impeached if the U.S. defaults on its debts.

The comment is from Rep. Steve King (R-IA), who told his followers on Twitter that they should "stop talking about" a potential U.S. default.

"The 1st dime of each $1 of revenue services debt," he wrote Monday. "Obama would be impeached if he blocked debt payments."

The comment is ironic in that Republicans have played the largest role in pushing the U.S. government to the brink of defaulting on some debts by refusing to lift the nation's debt ceiling

Congressional Republicans raised the ceiling nine times during the Bush administration, adding over $4 trillion to the nation's debts. President Obama, as a freshman Senator from Illinois, voted in 2006 against raising the debt ceiling, but has since called his decision a mistake of inexperience

Today the president and Treasury are warning that if the debt limit is not raised before August 2, the government will be forced to default on some of its debts. President Obama even warned that Social Security checks might not arrive on time, or at all, if Congress cannot secure a deal. Raw Story

Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) took the rhetoric in the debt ceiling debate to a new level on Monday, saying via Twitter that President Obama could be impeached if he lets the U.S. default on its debts. King said there's no reason to even suggest default is a possibility on Aug. 2, when the Treasury Department says the government will run short of money to pay its bills, because, in King's words, "the 1st dime of each $1 of revenue services debt," so while we might fall short on other financial obligations, the U.S. will always pay its debts. Rep. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) has also mentioned impeachment, should Obama raise the debt ceiling without congressional approval. Is impeachment really a possibility, or is this just wishful thinking on the part of conservative Republicans?

Let's hope the GOP tries this nonsense: "Impeachment would be a good thing," says Steve M. at No More Mister Nice Blog. Not because Obama deserves it, but because such an attack "without any semblance of an impeachable offense would smack some sense into America." Republicans might try impeachment, but not over this: "I'd be pretty surprised if the debt ceiling leads to impeachment," says Jonathan Chait at The New Republic. The mainstream GOP is not going to such extremes yet. Republicans are slamming the decision to have the party as “insensitive.”

“This really shows how unserious he is,” Republican Rep. Joe Walsh, a fellow Chicagoan, tells Newsmax exclusively. “I realize it’s his birthday, but he is a president who has said he doesn’t know if social security checks will go out that day.

“If that’s the case, I cannot believe he will be having a big party that very day.”

Obama said on Tuesday that he cannot guarantee that social security checks will go out from August 3 unless a deal can be reached on raising the nation’s $14.3 trillion debt limit. “There may simply not be the money in the coffers to do it,” he told CBS’ Scott Pelley.

Unless the deal is reached, government services across the board will be cut and in many cases closed down.

“My first thought was that he will have to fly to Chicago before the third because I can’t imagine airports will be open,” said Walsh. “And he’ll have to have a huge supply of candles because the lights are going to go out.

“I am amazed he will be able to have a party at all.”

Walsh said he hopes to be in Chicago on Aug. 3 himself to be with his family in case the calamity that Obama has warned about comes to fruition. “I just doubt I’ll get an invitation to the party,” he said.

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson is expected to perform at the birthday bash at the historic Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. The event will be one of the president’s biggest fundraisers of the year. Publicity literature featuring a red, white and blue Happy Birthday logo has already been produced.

The event will be “multi-tiered,” the Chicago Sun-Times reported. The Hudson concert would cost $50; admission to the party $200; a premium seat $1,000; a souvenir photo with the president $10,000; and VIP seating and dinner with Obama $38,500.

Another GOP Congressman, Louie Gohmert of Texas was incredulous about the timing. “That’d be as crazy as setting up golf games in the middle of going after Osama bin Laden,” he said. “I’m sure he wouldn’t do something like that – or maybe he would.”

Obama has been leading contentious talks all week with leaders of both parties in the House and Senate to avoid the August 2 deadline. On Friday he warned of financial “Armageddon” if a deal cannot be reached.

Documents confirm Obama administration’s ‘catch and release’ immigration policy

Obama administration officials at the Department of Homeland Security deliberately misled Congress when they denied using “selective enforcement” to deport convicted criminals in the U.S. illegally. Their much-criticized “catch and release” policy was confirmed by documents obtained by Judicial Watch under the Freedom of Information Act.

The documents “show that the Obama administration is implementing ‘stealth amnesty’ which is an end-run around the rule of law and Congress,” said Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton.

Contrary to administration claims that convicted criminals were being deported just as fast as DHS got them, the released documents show that local immigration officials were in fact being given what Judicial Watch describes as “wide latitude” to dismiss federal immigration charges –even against criminals convicted of violent crimes such as sexual assault, solicitation of murder, kidnapping, aggravated assault, drug possession and assaulting a police officer.

They were then released back into the same American communities they violated, where they were free to prey on new victims.

One example: A June 30, 2010 memo from John Morton, director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Enforcement, instructs all ICE employees to use discretion in “prioritizing” deportation cases. As a result, Houston ICE increased its dismissals of deportation cases by 40 percent, earning praise from ICE headquarters.

“If the crime is remote in time and the alien has a substantial number of equities, all factors will be weighed to determine if an exercise of PD [prosecutorial discretion] is appropriate,” wrote Gary Goldman, chief counsel for Houston ICE, in a Aug. 12, 2010 memo. “ICE Senior Leadership does not want their attorneys to merely fill a seat in immigration court and blindly prosecute every case handed to them. The current administration wants attorneys of greater sophistication, independence and complexity in decision making…”

The current administration may want “sophistication”, but the American people want convicted foreign criminals kicked out of the U.S.A.

Another example: ICE officials in Pennsylvania advised police to release three illegal immigrants charged with speeding, driving without a license, insurance or registration under false identification.

This is strikingly similar to ICE’s refusal to deport C arlos Martinelly-Montano, who was subsequently charged with killing one nun and critically injuring two others last August in Prince William County in a drunk driving accident. Martinelly-Montano was allowed to remain in the U.S. despite two previous DUI convictions.

After critics in the media, including The Examiner, criticized ICE’s “catch and release” policy, Morton sent out another memo dated June 17, 2011 further defining the term “prosecutorial discretion.”

“In basic terms, prosecutorial discretion is the authority of an agency charged with enforcing a law to decide to what degree to enforce the law against a particular individual,” Morton writes. In other words, the identity of the foreign offender – not the crime itself – determines whether or not the criminal is deported.

As Fitton points out, this is exactly the selective enforcement that the Obama administration claimed it was not doing.

ATC SAYS - And all this to what? Obama tries to stop execution in Texas of Mexican killer

President Barack Obama is attempting to block the execution in Texas on Thursday of a Mexican man because it would breach an international convention and do "irreparable harm" to US interests.

The White House has asked the US supreme court to put the execution of Humberto Leal Garcia on hold while Congress passes a law that would prevent the convicted rapist and murderer from being put to death along with dozens of other foreign nationals who were denied proper access to diplomatic representation before trials for capital crimes.

The administration moved after the governor of Texas, Rick Perry, brushed aside appeals from diplomats, top judges, senior military officers, the United Nations and former president George W Bush to stay Leal's execution because it could jeopardise American citizens arrested abroad as well as US diplomatic interests.

Leal, 38, was convicted in 1994 of the rape and murder of a 16-year-old girl in San Antonio. Few question that he was responsible for the killing but the Texas authorities failed to tell Leal, who was born in Mexico and has lived in the US since the age of two, that under the Vienna convention he was entitled to contact the Mexican consulate when he was arrested.

Leal's lawyers argue that the lack of consular access played a role in the death penalty being applied because the Mexican national incriminated himself in statements made during "non-custodial interviews" with the police on the day of the murder. Had Leal had access to the Mexican consulate it would have been likely to have arranged a lawyer who would have advised the accused man to limit his statements to the police. As it was, the Mexican authorities were never informed of his arrest.

In a 30-page brief to the supreme court, the administration said that the carrying out of the execution "would place the United States in irreparable breach of its international law obligation" under the convention.

The White House said it was in the US's interests to meet its treaty obligations.

"These interests include protecting Americans abroad, fostering co-operation with foreign nations, and demonstrating respect for the international rule of law," it said.

Carrying out Leal's execution would cause "irreparable harm" to US interests abroad, the administration added.

"That breach would have serious repercussions for United States foreign relations, law-enforcement and other co-operation with Mexico, and the ability of American citizens travelling abroad to have the benefits of consular assistance in the event of detention," it said.

The legal situation has been complicated by earlier court rulings.

In 2004, the international court of justice (ICJ) ruled that the US authorities had failed to meet its legal obligations to 51 Mexicans awaiting execution in American prisons when they were not informed of their right to contact their consulates.

The then president, George W Bush, a former Texas governor who backs the death penalty, said the US would adhere to the ICJ ruling which, in effect, meant the death sentences would be reviewed or commuted. But in 2008 the supreme court ruled that while the US government was obliged to comply with the ICJ ruling it did not have the power to force individual American states to do so. Only Congress could require adherence by passing a law.

The Obama administration has told the supreme court that a bill has recently been introduced in to the Senate to do just that but it is unlikely to win the approval of both houses of Congress before next year. The White House wants Leal's execution put on hold until the law is passed but two courts have already ruled that pending legislation has no effect on the legal process.

The UN high commissioner for human rights, Navi Pillay, has appealed to Perry to commute Leal's sentence to life imprisonment.

Christof Heyns, the UN special rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions said that if Leal was put to death it would be "tantamount to an arbitrary deprivation of life".

Perry's office has said Texas laws had been abided by and that Leal would be executed for "the most heinous of crimes".

This new policy of “prosecutorial discretion” was quietly announced on Friday afternoon, and completely ignored by the mainstream press.

Author of Arizona’s SB1070 and Kansas’ secretary of state, Kris Kobach, told the Daily Caller: “They’re pushing the [immigration] agents to be even more lax, to go further in not enforcing the law. At a time when millions of Americans are unemployed and looking for work, this is more bad news coming from the Obama administration… [if the administration] really cared about putting Americans back to work, it would be vigorously enforcing the law.”

Late last year, the so-called DREAM Act which would give legal residency status to millions of illegal aliens who attend college or join the military was defeated in the Senate.

Every major poll has shown that the American people are overwhelmingly opposed to the DREAM Act as well as any other form of amnesty.

However, with Obama’s poll numbers plummeting, this use of his executive powers is seen as an obvious ploy to solidify the Latino vote in the 2012 presidential election.

Justice served: Osama bin Laden dead and disposed

WASHINGTON (RNN) - DNA testing confirms the man responsible for the planning of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the central figure in the al-Qaeda terrorist operation, Osama bin Laden, has been killed by U.S. forces.

"This is a good day for America," President Barack Obama said Monday during a previously scheduled Medal of Honor ceremony.

DNA was not the only evidence that confirms bin Laden's death, according to the Associated Press (AP). Matching physical features of the his recovered body, a detailed CIA photo analysis and the testimonies of those at the scene all back up the government's genetic testing.

"There should be no doubt in anybody's mind, this is Osama bin Laden," a government official said to the AP.

Obama announced late Sunday night that bin Laden had been killed in Pakistan in a firefight with U.S. forces.

"The death of Bin Laden marks the most significant achievement to date in our nation's effort to defeat al-Qaeda. His death does not mark the end of our effort," Obama said.

A U.S. official who spoke on condition of anonymity said bin Laden's burial would be handled according to Islamic tradition, which required burial within 24 hours, the AP reported.

However, muslim clerics said bin Laden's burial at sea is not in accordance with tradition, the AP reported.

"The Americans want to humiliate Muslims through this burial, and I don't think this is in the interest of the U.S. administration," said Omar Bakri Mohammed, a radical cleric in Lebanon, told the AP.

The U.S. government says it would have been difficult to find a country willing to take bin Laden's body, for fear it would create a permanent shrine. Unconfirmed reports indicate that two countries turned down requests to claim the body: Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

It remains unclear if the U.S. government will provide photographic evidence of bin Laden's dead body. (ATC Says .....oh I am sure they eventually will, after all it took us 2 1/2 years to see a birth certificate....I am sure at some point when it is politically expedient and beneficial to Obongo, as was the case with the a fore mentioned item, it will be).

Leads on bin Laden's whereabouts first surfaced last August, Obama said Sunday, but they was "far from certain." After several meetings last week, he and his national security team finally had enough intelligence to take action.

According to senior Obama administration officials, bin Laden was located in a $1 million compound in Pakistan.

"Intelligence analysts determined this compound was custom built to hide someone of significance," the official said. "Everything we saw was perfectly consistent with what experts expected bin Laden's compound to look like."

He noted it also had no phone or internet access.

In a 40-minute raid, bin Laden was killed, as well as three adult men, two believed to be couriers and a third, bin Laden's adult son. A woman was also killed when she was used as a shield by a combatant within the compound.

The administration officials say the intelligence on bin Laden's whereabouts was not shared with any other country and only a few people within the ranks of the U.S. government knew about the operation in advance.

The president called it "a good and historic day."

"We can say to those families who have lost loved ones to al-Qaeda's terror, justice has been done," Obama said.

"Let me say to the families who lost loved ones on 9/11, that we have never forgotten your loss, nor wavered in our commitment to see that we do whatever it takes to prevent another attack on our shores."

Bin Laden was widely regarded as public enemy No. 1 of the U.S.

"Well, this is a terrific day for America, and quite frankly the whole world that cares about winning the war on terror," said Andy Card, chief of staff of former President George W. Bush, to ABC.

Throngs of people gathered outside the White House Sunday evening and sang the national anthem and Queen's "We Are the Champions."

Before the announcement was made, U.S. military installations were placed on heightened alert in preparation for possible retaliation.

"There's no doubt that al-Qaeda will continue to pursue attacks against us," Obama said. "We must and we will remain vigilant at home and abroad."

According to MSA Security, however, the fate of Ayman al-Zawahiri, al-Qaeda's second in command, remains unknown at the current time.

"Zawahiri is widely believed to be the driving force for al-Qaeda operations worldwide," said the intelligence agency in a news release issued Monday morning.

The death of bin Laden comes almost 10 years after the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the start of the war in Afghanistan.

Bin Laden is also wanted by the FBI in connection with a trio of bombings on U.S. Embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Nairobi, Kenya. The attacks, which killed more than 200, occurred on Aug. 7, 1998.

The FBI advertised a $25 million reward for information leading to Bin Laden's capture.

White House Releases Obama's Illeged Long-Form Birth Certificate

The White House has released President Obama's long-form birth certificate, saying the document is "proof positive" the president was born in Hawaii.

White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer said the administration decided to release the full document in response to mounting questions about the president's birth. He noted that what started as Internet chatter had moved into the national political debate and ended up being discussed regularly on mainstream news outlets.

He said the president believed the matter was becoming a "distraction" from major issues.

Obama plans to discuss the release of the document Wednesday morning at the White House.

The document lists Obama's birthplace as Honolulu, Hawaii, and his birth date as Aug. 4, 1961. The hospital listed is Kapiolani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital. The name on the birth certificate is Barack Hussein Obama II.

Obama's presidential campaign, in response to questions raised in 2008, at the time posted a short-form version of the document on the Internet. But conspiracy theories continued to fester. They gained legs in recent weeks as Donald Trump, who is toying with the possibility of running as a presidential candidate in 2012, repeatedly and publicly questioned Obama's origin.

Pfeiffer, on the White House blog, said the president thought the attention was "bad for the American people" and directed his counsel to request access to the long-form document from the Hawaii State Department of Health. The department granted an exception to release the long-form document "because of the tremendous volume of requests they had been getting," the White House said.

"At a time of great consequence for this country -- when we should be debating how we win the future, reduce our deficit, deal with high gas prices, and bring stability to the Middle East, Washington, DC, was once again distracted by a fake issue," Pfeiffer said on the blog. "The President's hope is that with this step, we can move on to debating the bigger issues that matter to the American people and the future of the country."

Trump, speaking in New Hampshire, took credit Wednesday for the president's decision to release the document. He said his team would have to examine the birth certificate and questioned why the White House took so long, but indicated he wanted to move beyond the issue.

"Today, I'm very proud of myself, because I've accomplished something that nobody else has been able to accomplish," Trump told reporters. "Why he didn't do it when everybody else was asking for it, I don't know. But I am really honored, frankly, to have played such a big role in hopefully, hopefully getting rid of this issue."

Looking at the released Long Form Birth Certificate I can see two things strange right off the bat:

Most hospitals in 1961 would have the race as "Negro" for the father, NOT AFRICAN!

Also, seeings how that Obama apparently detests the idea of being called "Junior". We can see that his father's name was "Barack Hussein Obama Senior" and Obama should be "Barack Hussein Obama Junior" on the birth certificate. Instead it reads "Barack Hussein Obama II" which is garbage and obvious revisionism on the part of Obama's people, who likely did the forgery.....

ATC Says - My immediate questions right off the bat are:

* Why did Obama spend two million dollars NOT to release the birth certificate until now...........a full 2 1/2 years into his Presidency?

Importing Disaster: Demographic Changes Mean Democrat Future!

At a gathering some years ago, I had a political conversation with a man who had recently arrived here from Denmark. He was advocating his home country's socialist system, which, of course, led to profound disagreement. He was good natured and cordial, however, so the debate ended on a polite note. Yet it also ended on an ironic one: When asked if he wanted to return home, his answer was no. (ATC Says - Hmmm.........interesting how none of them ever want too even though they brag to us all how great the shithole is they came from....)

This is a common phenomenon. We see it, for instance, in liberal northerners who move to the South for the lower taxes and cost of living and greater freedom, but then continue to vote for the kind of politicians who made the Northeast a nice place to leave. And while this befuddles many, it's simply man's nature. Of course people want that which is good, such as a better lifestyle, but wanting and attaining are two different things. Everyone wants good health, for example, but many nevertheless are too attached to unhealthful foods and practices to relinquish them. Oh, they might move into your healthy body if they could, but they would likely do to it what a government-subsidized project does to a good neighborhood.

Now, there is a reason why I'm talking about how a change in location doesn't equate to a change in ideology. In the Financial Times recently, Richard McGregor reported on the latest population data, writing:

The electorate has become less white and more Hispanic more rapidly than predicted, according to the national census, two trends that will influence elections for decades.

... Mr Obama and the Democrats have long had a significant lead among minority voters, [and these demographic changes are] lifting their chances of taking states such as Nevada, Georgia and Arizona [which were] lost in 2008.

As to the rate of this change, McGregor writes:

The non-Hispanic white population dropped from 69.1 per cent in 2000 to 63.7 per cent in 2010. By contrast, the minority population, which includes African Americans and African Asians [sic], jumped from 30.9 per cent to 36.3 during the same period.

Ironically, while McGregor cites whites' lower fertility rate, he doesn't even once mention the 800-lb statist in the middle of the room: immigration. I guess being flooded with unassimilable foreigners is now taken so for granted that it no longer even warrants mention.

What McGregor does do is discuss immigration's effects, as he, quoting the National Journal, asks "whether Republicans can increase their advantage among whites enough to overcome what is likely to be a growing share of the overall vote cast by minorities [in 2012]."

The answer?

It doesn't matter.

As long as we continue our suicidal immigration policies -- where 85 percent of newcomers hail from the Third World and Asia (thanks, Ted Kennedy) -- the only thing that will be in question about our descent into socialism, and perhaps beyond, is the rate.

Despite this, like McGregor, all most conservatives talk about is 2012 this and 2012 that. Yet, what good is fighting for momentary political success if you don't secure the cultural foundation of which it's born? And how can you enjoy the latter when the rate of cultural invasion greatly exceeds the rate of assimilation?

Remember that people create the government; government doesn't create the people. If you replace Westerners with Muslims, you no longer have Christendom (or even the shell of it we now inhabit) but Iran West. And if you replace apple-pie Americans with I-want-your-piece-of-the-pie socialists, you no longer have the US but the USSR redux. Oh, of course, our immigration scheme isn't replacing us in one fell swoop; instead, it's happening incrementally, which all the frogs in the frying pan of water don't really seem to notice much. But as the aforementioned census data demonstrates, those increments are becoming bigger -- and more rapid. And a death by a thousand cuts is still a death.

So we may talk about how Tea Parties are "waking people up," but conservatives are asleep; the reality they're ignoring is that there are fewer who can be woken up all the time. While you're attempting the daunting task of re-education, the statists are importing ready-made voters. You're fertilizing the tree in the hope it will bear more fruit.

The statists are chopping it down and are planting a new tree.

And it never seems to occur to conservatives that we should try to take the axe away. Virtually every time someone complains about illegal migration, it's accompanied by the disclaimer, "Now, I have no problem with legal immigration..." In fact, this blind devotion to our colonization (I call this devotion "immigrationism") is so great that warnings about it are usually met with crickets chirping. So I will spell it out.

According to my calculations, on average, groups descended from the new immigrants in question vote for leftists approximately 79 percent of the time. This means that 79 percent of 36.3 percent of the population now supports statists (on top of the whites who do), and the latter figure is up almost 6 points in just 10 years. Soon it will be 79 percent of 40.

Then 79 percent of 50.

Then 60.

And 70, and, well, does anyone get it?

Or do I still hear crickets?

So what does this mean for the future? Well, in the 1990s, we had Bill Clinton and many people thought it couldn't get any worse than the Wizard of Is. Eight years after he left office, however, we got Barack Obama, and now, once again, some think it can't get any worse.

But they are wrong.

Just wait until Malia Obama is running.

On the right.

And who might be running to her left? Well, since our imported socialists come not from Denmark but south of the border, that is where I'll look for possibilities.

Perhaps he will be like the new president of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff, who was a Marxist guerrilla.

Maybe like Bolivia's Evo Morales, whose Movement towards Socialism Party has given the nation the "Law of Mother Earth" legislation, which grants human rights to nature (animals, trees, insects, etc.). This resurrection of Bolivia's pagan past will be enforced by a bureaucracy called the "Ministry of Mother Earth."

Or that future candidate could reflect Ecuador's Rafael Correa, who has called for a socialist Latin America and has nationalized the assets of "uncooperative" oil companies.

He could also look like the man against whose socialist government we fought a proxy war in the 1980s, Nicaraguan president Daniel Ortega.

And then there is Mr. Ego and Mouth himself, Hugo Chavez. 'Nuff said.

Of course, we could get lucky and just end up like Mexico, a kleptocratic, drug-cartel-plagued state with socialist tendencies.

And we're well on the road to such Third Worldism. Many conservatives are waiting for the next Ronald Reagan, but they miss the point. The question is not "Where are all the leaders?" but something else:

Where are all the followers?

Answer: dying off and being replaced.

In 1984, Reagan enjoyed a 49-state landslide victory, losing only Walter Mondale's home state, Minnesota, by a narrow margin. Today, however, he not only would likely lose states such as Massachusetts, Hawaii, Vermont and New York, to name a handful, he wouldn't even carry his home state of California. And consider who Americans elected a mere 20 years after Reagan left office: a man who spent those 20 years sitting in a bigoted, anti-American church; a man with a 2007 voting record to the left of that of the Senate's only avowed socialist (Bernie Sanders). "And imagine," some will say, "that man, Barack Obama, was elected by the same nation!"

But he wasn't.

Just by people residing within the same borders.

And these are the consequences of not controlling the cultural elements that come into your land and, through the process the Soviets called "demoralization," are raised up out of it.

Of course, my predictions are based on certain assumptions, not the least of which is that there will be an intact American republic to elect a leader in the future. But with how balkanized we are -- the left-right and secular-religious divides, groups such as La Raza (the Race) and MEChA and the desire to "reconquer" Ca. and the Southwest in Mexico's name -- this is not a given.

If traditionalists have to compete against a national tide like that, the crickets will soon be chirping over Western civilization in North America.

Obama moves to protect his illegal alien voter base by making it harder to deport them!

The Obama administration is changing the federal immigration enforcement strategy in ways that reduce the threat of deportation for millions of illegal immigrants, even as states such as Arizona, Colorado, Virginia, Ohio and Texas are pushing to accelerate deportations.

• Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director John Morton ordered agency officials on Aug. 20 to begin dismissing deportation cases against people who haven't committed serious crimes and have credible immigration applications pending.

• A proposed directive from Morton posted on ICE's website for public comment last month would generally prohibit police from using misdemeanor traffic stops to send people to ICE. Traffic stops have led to increased deportations in recent years, according to Jessica Vaughan, director of policy studies at the Center for Immigration Studies, a think tank whose research supports tighter enforcement.

The directive said exceptions would be made in certain cases, such as when immigrants have serious criminal records.

• ICE officers have been told to "exercise discretion" when deciding whether to detain "long-time lawful permanent residents, juveniles, the immediate family members of U.S. citizens, veterans, members of the armed forces and their families, and others with illnesses or special circumstances," Daniel Ragsdale, ICE executive associate director of management, testified July 1 in the administration's lawsuit to block Arizona's controversial immigration law. The law requires police officers to determine the immigration status of suspects stopped for another offense if there was a "reasonable suspicion" they are in the USA illegally. A U.S. district judge has held up the provision pending review.

• A draft memo from ICE's sister agency, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, to Morton discussed ways the administration could adjust regulations so certain groups, such as college students and the spouses of military personnel, could legalize their status or at least avoid deportation if Congress doesn't pass comprehensive immigration reform. USCIS rules on applications for visas, work permits and citizenship. USCIS spokesman Christopher Bentley said the memo was intended to stimulate brainstorming on how to legalize immigrants if new laws aren't passed.

The administration's new direction puts it at odds with those who believe the nation's immigration laws should be strictly enforced and that all illegal immigrants should be deported.

ICE is "thumbing its nose at the law," said Rep. Steve King of Iowa, the top Republican on the House immigration subcommittee.

The changes have also drawn complaints from immigration advocates. They say deportations under Obama are at record highs and immigrants who remain behind are living in limbo, without work permits, Social Security cards or driver's licenses.

"This isn't a free ticket," said Raed Gonzalez, a Houston attorney who saw cases against his clients dropped last month. "The government can put them back into proceedings at any time."

Morton said in an interview that the new strategy is smarter, not softer, enforcement. At a time when more than 10 million people are in the country illegally, record sums are spent on enforcement and the federal budget faces huge deficits, it makes sense to target people who pose the biggest threat to public safety or national security, he said.

"Congress provides enough money to deport a little less than 400,000 people," Morton said. "My perspective is those 400,000 people shouldn't be the first 400,000 people in the door but rather 400,000 people who reflect some considered government enforcement policy based on a rational set of objectives and priorities."

ICE statistics show that deportations have increased dramatically from 189,000 in 2001 to 387,000 in 2009. Much of the increase results from deportations of people who haven't committed serious crimes, according to TRAC.

This year, however, that trend took a sharp turn, according to an Aug. 12 TRAC report.

The number of criminal immigrants removed by ICE "climbed to an all-time high," the report said. In fiscal 2010, which began Oct. 1, "The removal pace of criminal aliens ... is fully 60% higher than in the last year of the Bush administration, and at least a third (37%) higher than in the first year of the Obama administration."

Obama A Traitor And War Criminal – Where’s Congress?

On the eighth anniversary of the day President George W. Bush ordered US troops into Iraq in 2003, with the full support of the US Congress and majority support from the UN Security Council, Barack Obama launched a Tomahawk missile assault on the sovereign nation of Libya with no majority support in the UN and without even consulting congress.

Acting alone while congress was away on recess, solely at the command of the United Nations and without constitutional authority, Barack Obama dropped over $70 million worth of Tomahawk missiles on the sovereign nation of Libya in a dictatorial maneuver to force regime change of a foreign land.

He launched a military assault on Libya under what authority? To be certain, Gadhafi is no prize, but what Obama just did is far worse. Acting all alone in a truly imperialistic fashion, Obama violated his Oath of Office, Article I and II of the US Constitution and The War Powers Act all in one mindless kneejerk decision.

Article II – Section II of the US Constitution identifies the US President as the civilian oversight of the US Military and Commander-in-Chief. But it gives the US President no authority to use military might to enforce its political will upon foreign nations.

Article I – Section VIII of the US Constitution rests the power to declare war solely with the US Congress. It requires both the Commander-in-Chief and Congress to commit US troops to combat, without which the act is wholly unconstitutional.

Even the Washington Times managed to get this one right in its editorial – Obama’s Illegal War.

The 1973 War Powers Act was put in place to prevent a US President from doing exactly what Barack Obama just did.

SEC. 2. (a) It is the purpose of this joint resolution to fulfill the intent of the framers of the Constitution of the United States and insure that the collective judgment of both the Congress and the President will apply to the introduction of United States Armed Forces into hostilities, or into situations where imminent involvement in hostilities is clearly indicated by the circumstances, and to the continued use of such forces in hostilities or in such situations.

A US Commander-in-Chief can order use of military force in only three specific conditions…

(1) a declaration of war,

(2) specific statutory authorization, or

(3) a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces.

The US Congress has not declared war against a foreign nation since WWII. But when George W. Bush sent troops into Afghanistan and Iraq following the September 11, 2001 attacks on US soil, he not only consulted congress in advance, he sought and received specific statutory authorization from congress before ordering troops into combat. Bush complied with the constitution and War Powers Act under conditions (2) and (3). He also had a broad coalition of UN partners backed by years of Iraqi broken UN resolutions.

In the case of Obama and Libya, none of these conditions exist.

1) Congress did not declare war.

2) Congress was not consulted and did not give specific statutory authorization.

3) The US was not attacked in any way by Libya which presented no threat to the US or US assets.

As a result, Barack Obama had NO constitutional authority to attack Libya with over $70 million worth of US taxpayer Tomahawks, placing American soldiers in harm’s way in yet another war which cannot even be justified by the pursuit of oil.

Obama touched down in Brazil as American soldiers launched a military assault on Libya at Obama’s command. Obama stands alone in this decision and order, without the support of the American people, without constitutional authority and in direct violation of his Oath of Office and the War Powers Act.

Obama is a war criminal and traitor as a result. He has acted alone, well beyond the scope and authority of his office and at odds with the national interests of the United States and the constitution which he took an oath to uphold and defend.

The Washington Times has it right. Even crook Democrat Charlie Rangel has it right - saying he was angry that Congress was not consulted before the military strikes.

He said he was undecided on whether the military action against Libya was justified but thought lawmakers and their constituents should have had time to weigh in. "Our presidents seem to believe that all we have to do is go to the U.N. and we go to war," Rangel said.

Rangel is right this time - a president must consult congress unless the US is under attack. Obama did not consult or even notify congress in advance. He acted alone on the command of the UN.

Although the UN clearly has command over Barack Obama, the UN has no command authority over the US Armed Forces. Obama used US soldiers illegally and unconstitutionally. These are the facts…

But where is congress?

Anti-war liberal and libertarian politicians like Ron Paul have attacked President Bush for years on Iraq and Afghanistan, even though Bush openly consulted, sought and received congressional authority for both military actions.

Here we have a clear cut violation and abuse of presidential powers and where are all the Code Pink, MoveOn.org, Ron Paul anti-war types?

Who in the US Congress, specifically the Republican controlled House, is going to launch a full scale investigation into Obama’s dictatorial use of military might and begin impeachment proceedings?

Americans are well aware of the fact that we have a lawless renegade regime running our federal government, which does not concern itself with the constitution or rule of law no matter the subject.

But now that anti-American renegade regime is illegally using military might to enforce its political will upon foreign sovereign nations, acting as though their oath is to the UN rather than the USA and as if they are free from any limitations or consequences.

Who in the US Congress is going to put a stop to the growing insanity? We have a runaway government acting against the interests of the United States and beyond its legal authority. Will anyone have the backbone to stop it and hold Obama accountable?

Will there be an international war crimes trial of Barack Obama?

Obama Starts Another Illegal War, Rangel Calls For Draft

Once again, America has preemptively attacked a sovereign nation that posed no threat to her without a declaration of war from the people's representatives. Apparently the U.S. president now gets permission from the U.N. to spend U.S. taxpayer dollars on unprovoked wars and outright murder. Isn't it still called murder when killing is not done in self-defense? Okay, just checking to make sure I haven't lost my mind.

Nobel Peace prince Obama launched his liberation of the good people of Libya with his own shock-and-awe bombing campaign appropriately on the eighth anniversary of Bush's illegal invasion of Iraq. This tyrannical intervention is so naked, so brazen in its hubris that whatever shred of goodwill America had left is completely gone. America is officially the most murderous, anti-democratic, terrorist nation the world has ever known.

And get this, on the very same day of this unconstitutional act of war, ethically-challenged Charlie Rangel reintroduced his National Service "Draft" bill. Rangel pointed out in his announcement that the government lied us into the Iraq war that ultimately resulted in the deaths of over 4,400 servicemen with over 32,000 injured. He claims this is the reason we need a draft:

Based on false pretenses of weapons of mass destruction and involvement in the 9/11 attacks, the unfunded war in Iraq has cost our nation not only $800 billion dollars, but the lives of more than 4,400 brave American patriots. Over 32,000 U.S. soldiers have also been seriously wounded in the war we should not have been in the first place.

It is because of these devastating statistics and the commitment our nation must make to sharing in duty and service that I reintroduced the Universal National Service Act, commonly known as the draft bill.

Currently the burden of defending our nation is carried by an increasingly smaller segment of our population. Only 1 percent of the American population currently makes the sacrifice of laying down life and limb for our country.

Far too many are being forced into repeated tours of duty, sometimes as many as six deployments. This repeated combat exposure to our troops is why 25 percent of America's active duty military personnel suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). It is why the Army's current suicide rate is far above the civilian rate at 22-per-100,000. The rate for the Marine Corps is even higher.

Boy, Rangel is a first-rate salesman. Who could resist the idea of forcing their children into repeated tours of duty and a 1-in-4 chance of getting ruined by PTSD? Or, making them so miserable that they think suicide is better than killing poor brown people for Big Oil profits and their pocket-change politicians -- all while bankrupting the country and their home towns in the process?

Rangel's pitch that a draft would alleviate these problems is ill-conceived, as he even pointed out: "Having a draft does not necessarily mean that everyone called to duty would be required to serve in the Armed forces." Who in their right mind would choose the Armed forces in this corrupt imperial climate if given a choice of community services?

Of course, liberals like to think Rangel's hidden argument is that a draft would actually discourage war by making the people pay more attention to the wars enough to protest. Wake up! We can't even get Congress to vote for these wars anymore! The notion that the decision makers will actually give a shit about the people's will is laughable. Besides, we all know how they handle peaceful protesters these days, despite their lofty rhetoric of fighting for people's rights in foreign countries.

At this point, it seems the only thing that can stop these conquistadors is when soldiers start refusing to fight en masse. They, and they alone, have the power to end this insanity. As Albert Einstein said "Nothing will end war unless the people themselves refuse to go to war." God help them find the courage and moral compass to end this tyranny.

As if it's not enough for the TSA to feel you up at the airport, now they're experimenting with rapid results DNA scanners that can scan and analyze your DNA using just a drop of saliva. Spit at the TSA agent who is molesting you, in other words, and they can use that saliva to scan your DNA and then store it in a government database.

Why would they want to do that? We can only imagine. Remember, it was Alex Jones who broke the story about hospitals secretly taking blood samples of babies and handing them over to the federal government for use in a national genetic database (http://www.prisonplanet.com/newborn...).

The government routinely steals genetic material from people for its own nefarious purposes, as does the pharmaceutical industry. For example, the medical industry's so-called "Hela cells" which have been exploited for decades by vaccine and drug companies, were harvested and stolen decades ago from Henrietta Lacks without her permission or consent (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HeLa). Hela cells are the foundation of hundreds of billions of dollars in profit for Big Pharma, and they are all based on DNA theft perpetrated by the pharmaceutical industry.

Harvesting your DNA at the airport

Now that the TSA is experimenting with portable DNA scanners, their real agenda becomes apparent: They will use airport security checkpoints to harvest DNA from the public in order to build up their government "bio bank" database of stolen DNA.

Of course, they will assure the public that they aren't storing the DNA information ...and the naked body scanners don't store images, either. Oh yeah, and the TSA's security procedures make air travel safer, too, if you can believe that.

Our source for this story is a report called "Genetic Patdown" published at TheDaily.com (http://www.thedaily.com/page/2011/0...). That story reveals that a company called NetBio manufactures the portable DNA scanning devices.

That same story also reveals that the TSA rolled out these DNA screening devices without even checking with the privacy committee of the DHS. Jim Harper, who serves on that committee, is even quoted in the story saying, "We're plunging into the unknown here."

But we aren't actually. It's not unknown. History has seen this before. It's called Nazi Germany. It's called the "Police State" approach to security: Use the power of big government to target the People as if they were all criminals. Then force them at gunpoint to consent to illegal searches and violations of their privacy. Do it all under the name of "homeland security" -- or Heimatschutz in German -- and keep the American people afraid by terrorizing them with occasional scary-sounding security alerts based on staged terrorism events that are often planned, organized and carried out by the FBI!

The recent Portland "terrorism" event, for example, was actually carried out by the FBI itself which recruited and then entrapped an innocent man with a Muslin name (http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2...).

The Homeland Security Newswire publication reveals that, in 2009, DHS awarded grant money (i.e. taxpayer dollars) to a Virginia firm to develop a portable DNA testing device.

A DHS spokesperson named Christopher Miles revealed the purpose of the device, explaining it had applications in "...mass-casualty situations, reunification of family members following mass evacuations, identification of missing persons, rapid processing of crime-scene and suspect DNA, and various scientific and educational uses..."

Interesting, isn't it? Back in 2009, they never mentioned "screening the DNA of air travelers at airports." But today, barely two years later, suddenly it's no longer for "reunification of family members" but rather the harvesting of DNA from air passengers -- almost certainly without their consent!

After all, since when did the TSA ever ask for your permission to do anything?

And what's the limit for all these privacy invading searchers, anyway? Where does it end? Can the TSA demand your blood, your saliva, or even your sperm for its tests? Is it soon going to be a condition of flying that you hand over your bodily fluids to the U.S. government so they can determine whether you might be a "genetic terrorist?"

Hitler would have loved the DNA scanners for his eugenics programs, of course. It would have provided a simple, "scientific" way to determine who was of Jewish descent and therefore who got loaded up and sent away on the rail cars. And she's already proved that she will go to great lengths to spy on the American people ("if you see something, say something").

I'll tell you where this is all probably headed, if you're interested to know. Before too much longer, we're going to see calls for global population controls that deny reproduction "rights" to those who don't fit the genetic profiles preferred by world governments. Genetic screening will be used to identify and then sterilize both men and women who don't fit the correct "genetic profile." These sterilizations will be delivered as vaccine shots -- a move that has already been perfectly described by Bill Gates himself, who says that vaccines are the key technology for "population control" and "reducing world population by 10 to 15 percent." A "bad" DNA scans earns you a court-mandated sterilization vaccination injection right on the spot. Think that's fiction? This whole scenario with the DNA scanners and population control eugenics won't happen right away, of course. It's always step by step... ratcheting up the police state one degree at a time like boiling a live frog. With the recent passenger molestation searches introduced by the TSA, the government was trying to determine just how far they could go without people rioting in response. And it turns out that most people are so brainwashed, so devoid of critical thinking skills, and so ignorant of their own rights and powers that they will do practically anything the government tells them to do. So don't be surprised if coming soon is the government's forced extraction of bodily fluids for DNA scanning.

Ground Zero Mosque Exposed, Imam is on the Obama-Clinton State Department Payroll

It turns out the Obama administration thinks Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is the right man to participate in a State Department trip to Muslim countries in the Middle East.

"The State Department has no responsibility to send fruitcakes around as if they are representatives of America," says former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton, who told Fox News that Imam Rauf should be dumped from the trip and that the State Department should investigate how he was included in the first place.

"I am just amazed that he could be selected to represent our country speaking around the world," Bolton observes.

Imam Rauf has been a lightning rod for many.

While Time magazine called him "The Moderate Imam Behind The 'Ground Zero Mosque,'" he recently refused to call Hamas a terrorist organization and he has said that the United States was partly to blame for the terrorist attacks on 9-11.

In an interview with "60 Minutes," in 2001, Rauf claimed that U.S. policies were quote, "an accessory" to the 9-11 attacks.

He also was quoted in a 2008 interview for "Malaysia Matters" saying that "when people feel they've been humiliated, when people feel they've been frustrated, when people feel they've been ignored, when people feel justice is not meted, then they feel the need to conflagrate."

The controversy over the Mosque, and the Imam's views, haven't stopped the Obama administration from planning to send him soon as part of a special State Department cultural program, that reportedly includes stops in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Abu Dhabi.

State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley praised the Imam, calling him "a distinguished Muslim cleric," who is part of a program where "we send people from Muslim communities here in this country around the world to help people overseas to understand our society and the role of religion within our society."

Crowley also said that fundraising on the Imam's trip for the Islamic Center would not be allowed.

It turns out that this government supported trip will be the Imam's third with the State Department. Crowley said the first was in 2007, during the Bush administration, and that Rauf went to Egypt this past January.

"We have a long term relationship with him," Crowley explained. "His work on tolerance and religious diversity is well known and he brings a moderate perspective to foreign audiences on what it is like to be a practicing Muslim in the United States."

But Bolton points to the Imam's controversial comments as proof that he should not go.

"Many of his statements support terrorism in effect. He has blamed terrorism on frustration and said it causes people to 'conflagrate,' a new word that he has apparently invented. That is the classic justification for radical terrorism. It is unacceptable to the overwhelming majority of American people and really civilized people around the world."

Bolton says "The idea that U.S. tax dollars are putting somebody who is prepared to defend terrorism on the road internationally, on behalf of the United States, is just inexplicable."

Bolton also thinks the cultural program should be reviewed.

"This is not a question of repressing religious freedom or anything like that," he says. "It's a question of making sure that a program that's intended to show America to the rest of the world, in fact is doing that instead of being used as a propaganda device by a highly radical, very tiny fraction of people in this country."

A request for an interview with the Imam about the trip was not answered, but his office has told Fox News that he is currently abroad.

Mandatory data retention 'raises serious privacy and free speech concerns'

WASHINGTON — The US Justice Department wants Internet service providers and cell phone companies to be required to hold on to records for longer to help with criminal prosecutions.

"Data retention is fundamental to the department's work in investigating and prosecuting almost every type of crime," US deputy assistant attorney general Jason Weinstein (JEW) told a congressional subcommittee on Tuesday.

"Some records are kept for weeks or months; others are stored very briefly before being purged," Weinstein said in remarks prepared for delivery to the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security.

He said Internet records are often "the only available evidence that allows us to investigate who committed crimes on the Internet."

Internet and phone records can be "crucial evidence" in a wide array of cases, including child exploitation, violent crime, fraud, terrorism, public corruption, drug trafficking, online piracy and computer hacking, Weinstein said, but only if the data still exists when law enforcement needs it.

"In some ways, the problem of investigations being stymied by a lack of data retention is growing worse," he told lawmakers.

Weinstein noted inconsistencies in data retention, with one mid-sized cell phone company not keeping records, a cable Internet provider not tracking the Internet protocol addresses it assigns to customers and another only keeping them for seven days.

Law enforcement is hampered by a "legal regime that does not require providers to retain non-content data for any period of time" while investigators must request records on a case-by-case basis through the courts, he said.

"The investigator must realize he needs the records before the provider deletes them, but providers are free to delete records after a short period of time, or to destroy them immediately," Weinstein added.

The justice official said greater data retention requirements raise legitimate privacy concerns but "any privacy concerns about data retention should be balanced against the needs of law enforcement to keep the public safe."

John Morris, general counsel at the non-profit Center for Democracy & Technology, said mandatory data retention "raises serious privacy and free speech concerns."

"A key to protecting privacy is to minimize the amount of data collected and held by ISPs and online companies in the first place," he said.

"Mandatory data retention laws would require companies to maintain large databases of subscribers' personal information, which would be vulnerable to hackers, accidental disclosure, and government or other third party access."

Kate Dean, executive director of the Internet Service Provider Association, said broad mandatory data retention requirements would be "fraught with legal, technical and practical challenges."

Dean said they would require "an entire industry to retain billions of discrete electronic records due to the possibility that a tiny percentage of them might contain evidence related to a crime."

"We think that it is important to weigh that potential value against the impact on the millions of innocent Internet users' privacy," she said.

No Obama birth certificate.....swears Hawaii official!

Former Hawaii elections clerk Tim Adams has now signed an affidavit swearing he was told by his supervisors in Hawaii that no long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate existed for Barack Obama Jr. in Hawaii and that neither Queens Medical Center nor Kapi'olani Medical Center in Honolulu had any record of Obama having been born in their medical facilities.

Adams was employed at the City and County of Honolulu Elections Division from May 2008 through September 2008.

His position was senior elections clerk, overseeing a group of 50 to 60 employees responsible for verifying the identity of voters at the Absentee Ballot Office. It was in this capacity that Adams became aware of the search for Obama's birth-certificate records.

"During the course of my employment," Adams swears in the affidavit (viewable in full as part 1 and part 2 ), "I became aware that many requests were being made to the City and County of Honolulu Elections Division, the Hawaii Office of Elections, and the Hawaii Department of Health from around the country to obtain a copy of then-Senator Barack Obama's long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate."

As he inquired about the birth certificate, he says, his supervisors told him that the records were not on file at the Hawaii Department of Health.

"Senior officers in the City and County of Honolulu Elections Division told me on multiple occasions that no Hawaii long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate existed for Senator Obama in the Hawaii Department of Health," Adams' affidavit reads, "and there was no record that any such document had ever been on file in the Hawaii Department of Health or any other branch or department of the Hawaii government."

In a recorded telephone interview, Adams told WND that it was common knowledge among election officials where he worked that no long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate could be found at the Hawaii Department of Health.

"My supervisor came and told me, 'Of course, there's no birth certificate. What? You stupid,'" Adams said. "She usually spoke well, but in saying this she reverted to a Hawaiian dialect. I really didn't know how to respond to that. She said it and just walked off. She was quite a powerful lady."

Moreover, Adams was told that neither Queens Memorial Hospital nor Kapi'olani Medical Center had any records of Obama's birth at their medical facilities: "Senior officers in the City and County of Honolulu Elections Division further told me on multiple occasions that Hawaii State government officials had made inquires about Sen. Obama's birth records to officials at Queens Medical Center and Kapi'olani Medical Center in Honolulu and that neither hospital had any record of Senator Obama having been born there, even though Governor Abercrombie is now asserting and various Hawaii government officials continue to assert Barack Obama Jr. was born at Kapi'olani Medical Center on Aug. 4, 1961."

"We called the two hospitals in Honolulu: Queens and Kapi'olani," Adams stressed. "Neither of them have any records that Barack Obama was born there."

In 2009, WND documented that Obama and his supporters had first claimed he was born at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, before the story changed to Kapi'olani Medical Center in Honolulu.

After WND's report on the two conflicting hospitals, online news sites including the United Press International and Snopes.com scrubbed their websites to eliminate any reference to Queens Medical Center, substituting instead that Obama was born at Kapi'olani Medical Center without explaining the discrepancy or the correction.

In 2010, then-candidate for governor Neil Abercrombie was involved in an Obama birth controversy when he read a letter at a Kapi'olani Medical Center centennial dinner in Honolulu that supposedly was authored by President Obama, claiming Kapi'olani as his birth hospital.

As WND reported, the letter read by Abercrombie and initially displayed on the Kapi'olani website turned out to be a computer-created likeness of a letter using HTML code, the building blocks of Internet websites, not an actual paper letter.

The White House has still not confirmed it wrote or sent the letter.

Moreover, Adams claims, the Hawaii government was engaged in a cover-up designed to tell the American public through the Obama-supporting mainstream media that Obama was born in Hawaii, even though no long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Obama could be found on record in the Hawaii Department of Health.

In the affidavit Adams swears, "During the course of my employment, I came to understand that for political reasons, various officials in the government of Hawaii, including then-Governor Linda Lingle and various officials of the Hawaii Department of Health, including Dr. Chiyome Fukino, the director of the Hawaii Department of Health, were making representations that Senator Obama was born in Hawaii, even though no government official in Hawaii could find a long-form birth certificate for Senator Obama that had been issued by a Hawaii hospital at the time of his birth."

Adams further swears his supervisors told him to quit asking about Obama's birth records.

"During the course of my employment," Adams states in the affidavit, "I was told by senior officers in the City and County of Honolulu Elections Division to stop inquiring about Senator Obama's Hawaii birth records, even though it was common knowledge among my fellow employees that no Hawaii long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate existed for Senator Obama."

"I can go get my long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate," Adams told WND. "And so I don't understand, this whole controversy should have been settled three or four years ago in about five minutes."

Nor does Adams feel the short-form Certification of Live Birth is authoritative documentation proving that Obama was born in Hawaii.

"My basic assumption is that he wasn't born there," Adams said. "Certifications of Live Birth were given to people who were born at home, or to people who were born overseas and whose parents brought them back to the islands. If his parents were U.S. citizens, or if one parent was a U.S. citizen, as was the case with Obama, the family would apply for a Hawaiian birth certificate when the parents came back from overseas. That's normally how you would have gotten on [a Certification of Live Birth] in the 1960s."

WND has reported that in 1961, Obama's grandparents, Stanley and Madelyn Dunham, could have made an in-person request at the Hawaii Department of Health for a registration of a Hawaii birth, even if the infant Barack Obama Jr. had been foreign-born.

In the past few days, Abercrombie has represented that there is a registration of Obama's birth in the state archives.

But the state registration of birth in 1961 theoretically could prove only that the grandparents had registered Obama's birth, even if Obama was not born in Hawaii.

Similarly, the newspaper announcements of baby Obama's birth do not prove he was born in Hawaii, since the newspaper announcements could have been triggered by the grandparents appearing in-person to register baby Obama as a Hawaiian birth, even if the baby was born elsewhere.

WND has documented that the address reported in the birth announcements published in the Hawaii newspapers at the time, 6085 Kalanianaole Highway, was the address where the grandparents lived.

WND has also reported that Barack Obama Sr. maintained his own separate apartment in Honolulu at an 11th Avenue address, even after he was supposedly married to Ann Dunham, Barack Obama's mother, and that Ann Dunham left Hawaii within three weeks of the baby's birth to attend the University of Washington in Seattle.

Dunham did not return to Hawaii until after Barack Obama Sr. left Hawaii in June 1962 to attend graduate school at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass.

It's possible the yet-undisclosed birth record in the state archives that Abercrombie has discovered may have come from the grandparents registering baby Obama's birth, an event that would have triggered both the newspaper birth announcements and availability of a Certification of Live Birth, even if no long-form record exists.

WND has confirmed with Glen Takahashi, elections administrator for the city and county of Honolulu, that Adams was indeed working in their elections offices during the last presidential election.

"We hire temporary workers, because we're seasonal," Takahashi told WND.

Adams told WND he supported Hillary Clinton during the 2008 presidential election campaign.

He described himself as a libertarian who wants less government spending, fewer laws that restrict personal freedoms, more adherences to the Constitution and an end to foreign wars.

"I'm interested in individual liberty and upholding the Constitution," he said. "I want to get American troops out from foreign countries, and I want to see the federal budget balanced."

He said he might be inclined to support former-Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee or former-Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney in 2012 to run against President Obama, but he has not yet made up his mind.

"It depends on how fiscally conservative Huckabee and Romney turn out to be on economics," he said. "But from what I know right now, they would probably be better than Obama."

New Congressional leaders have begun their investigations into the most potent scandal facing the Obama administration, one that seems destined to expose injustice at the highest levels of government. Rep. Lamar Smith, R-TX, the new chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, has opened a probe into the Justice Department’s handling of the Black Panther case in a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder. Smith is looking into whether the case’s dismissal, and the underlying culture of the department’s Voting Rights division, show a decision to deny justice to a broad category of Americans based on race. In the five-page letter, Smith writes, “Allegations that the Civil Rights Division has engaged in a practice of race-biased enforcement of voting rights law must be investigated by the Committee.”

In his sworn testimony before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, whistleblower Christopher Coates — who then headed the Voting Rights division — testified to a “deep-seated opposition to the equal enforcement of the” law “for the protection of white voters.” J. Christian Adams agreed that the department indicated it would not prosecute cases against a minority defendant on behalf of a white plaintiff. Coates remembered Julie Fernandes, Obama’s Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, telling DoJ employees “the Obama administration was only interested in bringing…cases that would provide political equality for racial and language minority voters.”

Four other employees have spoken of the department’s hostility to enforcing the law against minorities, two having sworn affidavits to that effect.

Smith singled out the another reported refusal by Fernandes in his letter: an alleged determination not to enforce a provision of the National Voter Registration Act (known as the “Motor Voter Law”) requiring localities to purge the voting rolls of dead and ineligible voters. Smith asked if Fernandes opted to “explicitly or implicitly direct Voting Section staff not to enforce any section of any federal rights statute.”

Fernandes seems to have admitted as much in public. Discussing that specific section, she publicly stated, “We have no interest in enforcing this provision of the law. It has nothing to do with increasing turnout, and we are just not going to do it.”

The refusal to enforce any law is troubling in itself. The well-grounded possibility that the federal government is denying justice on racial grounds is a fundamental perversion of government that strikes at the very heart of our national principles. In endorsing an investigation, National Review‘s Andrew McCarthy wrote, “It is a grave violation of law for the Justice Department to practice racial discrimination in deciding which cases it will bring, to determine that Americans of one race or class are not entitled to the same protection as all Americans…Under the Constitution, it is Congress’s obligation to stop it.”

Congress similarly has the duty to determine where this policy originated, and whether officials who publicly deny its existence are guilty of perjury or obstruction of justice. Thomas Perez, the Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division, testified on May 14 that the decision to drop the case was simply “a case of career people disagreeing with career people,” and that no “political leadership involved in the decision not to pursue this particular case.” However, the watchdog group Judicial Watch has uncovered proof of significant political involvement in lobbying on behalf of the Panthers. Did Perez commit perjury? If so, how high did the political pressure go? Who handed down the decision to dispense race-based “justice”? How high does the cover-up of this decision reach? Namely, did the attorney general or the president of the United States himself suborn perjury?

Answering these questions will require vigilance and indefatigable tenacity. Their answers threaten to blow apart the Justice Department and possibly uncover an ugly core of racial discrimination at the heart of the Obama administration.

U.S. Supreme Court Issues Landmark Decision: Constitution is Void!

The decision was issued on January 18, 2011, and the Court did not even explain the decision (Docket No. 10-632, 10-633, and 10-690). One word decisions: DENIED.

Presented with this information and massive proof that was not contested in any manner by the accused judges, at least six of the justices voted to deny the petitions:

"There is no legal or factual basis whatsoever for the decisions of the lower courts in this matter. These rulings were issued for corrupt reasons. Many of the judges in the Northern District of Georgia and the Eleventh Circuit are corrupt and violate laws and rules, as they have done in this case. The Supreme Court must recognize this Petition as one of the most serious matters ever presented to this Court."

The key questions answered negatively by the U.S. Supreme Court was:

"Whether federal courts must be stopped from operating corruptly and ignoring all laws, rules, and facts."

By denying the petitions, SCOTUS has chosen to sanction corruption by federal judges and to allow federal judges to void sections of the Constitutional at will.

William M. Windsor has been involved in legal action in the federal courts in Atlanta since 2006. Windsor was named a defendant in a civil lawsuit (1:06-CV-0714-ODE) in which Christopher Glynn of Maid of the Mist in Niagara Falls, swore under oath that Windsor did a variety of things including the crimes of theft and bribery. Windsor stated under oath that Christopher Glynn made it up and lied about absolutely everything that he swore. Windsor then obtained deposition testimony from Glynn and the other managers of the Maid of the Mist boat ride, and they admitted, under oath, that charges against Windsor were not true.

Despite this undeniable proof, 32-year federal Judge Orinda D. Evans declared that the grandfather of three should not have fought the lawsuit, and she forced him to pay a fortune in legal fees of Maid of the Mist. Windsor appealed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, but federal judges Dubina, Hull, and Fay rubber-stamped Judge Evans' ruling. Windsor then took his appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court where the justices said the appeal was not worthy of their consideration (cert denied).

After attempting to get the case reopened with new evidence that proved fraud upon the courts and obstruction of justice, Judge Evans and Judge William S. Duffey committed a variety of crimes and violations of Constitutional rights, as did judges with the Eleventh Circuit. All of this was detailed for the Supreme Court.

On Wednesday night in Tucson, Arizona, Obama and the Democrats disrespected the dead and turned a memorial into a cheap and tawdry political rally for the re-election campaign of Barry Obama.

A few of the usual pundits and observers noticed the obvious attempt to gain political mileage out of the dead and wounded by the Obama machine.

“Never before in the annals of national moments of mourning have the words spoken been so wildly mismatched by the spirit in which they were received,” writes John Podhoretz. “There was something about the choice of place, a college arena with the appropriate name of the McKale Memorial Center, that made the event turn literally sophomoric.”

The Washington Post said it is not “offering a judgment on whether or not it was an appropriate tone for a memorial service, but rather that it made for at-times incongruous sounds and images on television.”

The New York Times skirted the truth when Michael Shear wrote: “Mr. Obama’s speech, delivered amid sorrow, offered a fresh glimpse of the candidate who used hope as the tool to inspire his [supporters].”

“This was more like an Arsenio Hall show than a memorial service,” Doug Lucas, writing for American Thinker, complains today. “Catcalls, standing ovations, whistling and the whoop, whoop, whoop of the crowd dominated the night. What should have been a somber occasion for reflection turned into another Obama pep rally. It was as if these students had their guy up on stage and by God they weren’t about to let a national tragedy get in the way of them having a good time and cheering on their messiah.”

From the moment a politically correct Indian invoked ancestral spirits it was obvious the event was designed to be a political rally for Obama.

The creepy zombie-like Obama supporters we endured during the election returned in force and completely overshadowed any solemnity intended for the dead.

Another indication Democrats planned to exploit the dead came when operatives placed “Together We Thrive: Tucson & America” t-shirts on seats in the lower sections of the arena prior to the arrival of participants.

On January 10, the University of Arizona announced that Team Obama had accepted an invitation to visit Tucson in response to the shooting on Saturday. “President Obama will speak at a memorial event at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12 to support and remember victims of the mass shooting in Tucson, and to lift the spirits of those who have been personally affected by this tragedy,” UANews reported.

It takes time to design and manufacture thousands of t-shirts, a fact that leads one to conclude that Obama’s handlers had planned to exploit the tragedy soon after it occurred last weekend.

Rahm Emanuel, Obama chief of staff, once averred “never let a good crisis go to waste.” Soon after the shooting, however, Emanuel was quick to declare his political maxim “is not not intended for this moment, it doesn’t apply to this moment.”

The reaction of the Barry Obama faithful last night indicates otherwise. The corporate media is now predictably praiseful of the scriptwriter eloquence of Obama’s teleprompter speech. But with a few notable exceptions they have ignored the obvious fact that Barry Obama operatives decided before the smoke cleared in Tucson to exploit the memorial for political gain.

It is not an exaggeration to say that Obama has kicked off his re-election campaign on the bodies of Jared Lee Loughner’s victims, including the body of a nine year old child.

Even with the stench and pallor of the dead, politics never seem to change in the district of criminals.

In 2011, dozens of U.S. states are either implementing tax increases that have already been passed or are debating new tax increases that have recently been proposed. In most states, the actual state income tax is not being raised.

State politicians have learned that voters really tend to get angry when that happens. Rather, our politicians on the state level are looking for taxes and fees that won't be "noticed" that they can raise. For example, cigarette taxes, alcohol taxes, gas taxes, carbonated beverage taxes and phone taxes get raised a lot because the voters do not pay them directly to the government and typically they do not get noticed as much. Another huge area where state politicians love to raise money is through various "fees". For instance, millions of Americans have noticed that car registration fees and license fees have absolutely soared in recent years. Instead of our politicians coming at us with one big, huge tax increase that we would surely notice, they are hitting us with dozens of smaller tax hikes and fee increases that they are hoping we will not get upset about. The truth is that the average American pays literally dozens of different kinds of taxes each year, and it still isn't nearly enough to cover the horrific debts that our politicians have piled up.

And more tax increases are on the way. The following are just a few of the states that are talking about even more tax increases in 2011....

Illinois - In the state of Illinois, lawmakers are attempting to push through a 66 percent increase in the personal income tax rate. There is also a proposal to more than double the tax on cigarettes.

Connecticut - Dan Malloy is asking state legislators to approve the biggest tax increase that the state has seen in two decades.

California - California Governor Jerry Brown has unveiled a "draconian" budget plan for 2011 that includes 12 billion dollars in spending cuts and that maintains 12 billion dollars in tax increases.

Maryland - Lawmakers in Maryland are looking at raising taxes on gasoline and alcohol, among other things.

Georgia - Residents of Georgia will soon see a substantial increase in sales taxes on everything from groceries to water, higher cigarette taxes and possibly even higher phone taxes.

Washington State - Lawmakers in the state of Washington are proposing higher taxes on cigarettes, carbonated beverages and "hazardous substances".

Sadly, there are many more examples which could be mentioned. Tax increases are being proposed so rapidly all over the nation that it is incredibly difficult to keep up with them all.

So have your taxes been raised lately?

Many of you probably have already noticed that more money is being taken out of your paychecks now than compared to just a few years ago.

In most U.S. states, unemployment insurance payroll taxes have been raised substantially.

But what did you think was going to happen when so many people lost their jobs?

We all have to support all of those unemployed American workers one way or another. We didn't say anything when they shipped millions of middle class jobs overseas, so now we have to pay higher taxes to support the millions of workers that have lost their jobs.

According to the National Employment Law Project, 41 U.S. states increased unemployment insurance payroll taxes in 2010. The average unemployment insurance payroll tax increase was nearly 33.9%.

Does that make you mad?

Well, perhaps you should have bought more products that had "made in the U.S.A." on them and less products that had "made in China" stamped on them.

But we didn't provide U.S. workers with good jobs and so now we have to pay higher taxes to keep them from starving.

Meanwhile, our local "law enforcement authorities" are being turned into revenue raising agents.

In many areas of the country it is now difficult to get the police to come out even if someone has stolen your car or broken into your home.

Why?

Well, because they are all out writing tickets and raising money for the government.

And some of the fines being slapped on people in some areas of the country are absolutely outrageous. For example, from now on if you are caught jaywalking in the city of Los Angeles you will be slapped with a $191 fine.

Speeding tickets in many areas are becoming horribly expensive as well, and even the police realize what is going on. For example, just consider what Sgt. Richard Lyons says is going on in his community....

"They’re trying to use police officers to balance the budget on the backs of drivers, and it’s too bad. The people we count on to support us and help us when we’re on the road are the ones who end up paying the bills, and they’re ticked off about it. We might as well just go door to door and tell people, ‘Slide us $100 now since your 16-year-old is going to end up paying us anyway when he starts driving.’ You can’t blame people for getting upset."

Some areas of the country have found that it is even more efficient to automate the process of sucking the revenue out of us.

For example, revenue from red-light cameras doubled from $200,000 a month in 2007 to $400,000 a month at the end of 2009 in the city of Los Angeles.

In America today, drivers are not citizens to be served - they are revenue sources to be tapped.

In wake of Giffords shooting, the mere act of questioning the government now being demonized

(NaturalNews) In the aftermath of the shooting of Gabrielle Giffords in Tucson yesterday, the mainstream media is now desperately trying to blame the attack on "anti-government" sentiment. USA Today ran a tabloid journalism piece that selectively cherry-picked certain phrases used by Jared Lee Loughner in order to create the impression that he was some sort of anti-government nut. His state of mind, as evidenced from his YouTube posts, seems incapable of holding any traditionally-recognized political philosophy.

The Associated Press, meanwhile, actually blamed the "political climate" for the shooting, saying, "The nation's caustic political climate has become a suspect of sorts in the rampage that left six dead and a lawmaker critically injured in Arizona." The implication from these kinds of stories is that if you criticize the government, you therefore promote violence.

That is, of course, a silly idea, especially considering the fact that the government nearly always uses the threat of violence against its own citizens to get what it wants. To use the example of Obamacare, the law itself says that if citizens don't buy health insurance, the U.S. government will essentially extract a large sum of money from you by force through the use of IRS agents and, if necessary, the government seizure of your assets.

On the health care front, remember it was the U.S. government that committed medical violence against children by forcing teens with cancer to undergo chemotherapy against their will (http://www.naturalnews.com/019617.html). Various local governments also routinely threaten vegan parents with having their children taken away by Child Protective Services if they don't start feeding their children processed factory foods such as hamburgers.

The FDA, for its part, routinely sends extremely threatening letters to natural product companies (cherry growers, walnut growers, green tea importers, etc.) that contain extremely threatening language that imply company executives will be "criminally prosecuted" by the FDA, or have their assets seized, or even have their businesses shut down if they don't agree to admit to crimes they never even committed (selling "unapproved drugs" which are really just cherries). No one is surprised when the government uses the threat of violence to get what it wants these days. Today, the government actually commits felony crimes against the American people on a daily basis! It's called the "enhanced pat-down" by the TSA. If you did the exact same thing to another person at your office, you would be arrested as a "violent criminal" and charged with sexual assault.

When the government commits acts of violence, it's okay?

There are many other examples of similar acts of violence by the government committed against the People of America, but it all brings me to this important question: Why are people so outraged when citizens commit acts of violence against a government official while relatively few people seem to care when the government commits acts of violence against the People?

The outrage expressed in the shooting of Gabrielle Giffords is entirely justified, as violence is never the answer to disputes. Yet shouldn't we all be similarly outraged when the government uses violence or the threat of violence to achieve its own political aims with the People?

The mainstream media is dedicating a tremendous amount of coverage to this story on Giffords, and that is certainly appropriate for its own reasons. But did that same media cover the armed raid of a raw milk food store in California? Of course not.

Or how about the story that the U.S. government is conspiring with the GMO industry to threaten "a list of retaliatory targets" in Europe who resist the introduction of GMOs there? (http://www.naturalnews.com/030828_GMOs_Wikileaks.html...) You won't find that story in the New York Times, USA Today, LA Times or any other U.S. newspaper that I'm aware of.

The language used by the U.S. ambassador to France -- the "list of retaliatory targets" -- is precisely the kind of language that Sarah Palin is now accused of using against her political opponents in America. Sarah is being called out as an instigator of this shooting, yet I'm not aware of a single mainstream news outlet in America that bothered to cover this story of the U.S. government's GMO conspiracy to push toxic crops into Europe. By the way, I'm not a Sarah Palin supporter, so that's not where this is coming from. I'm a Ron Paul supporter, but now it seems that even supporting something like a desire to audit the Fed or honor the Constitution is going to be characterized as "radical" speech that will somehow be blamed for these acts of violence carried out by the mentally deranged.

Non-violence must be a two-way street

This is not meant in any way to excuse this act of violence against Giffords and those who attended her meeting. I'm already on the record condemning this act, and in every case that I have pushed for grassroots advocacy on this website, it has been done with the strict urging of non-violent action.

Yet, unlike so many in the mainstream media, I believe non-violence should work both ways. I believe the United States government should stop using violence and the threat of violence against its own People in its efforts to oppress food freedom, to vaccinate children against their parents' will, and to force people to buy into a health care plan they do not wish to purchase or use.

If you do not yet understand that the government uses violence as a matter of course to get its way, then I challenge you to stop paying your property taxes for a few years and see what happens. Before long, your property will be taken from you (seized) and then sold in order to pay your "liability" to the government. And when they come to remove you from your property, will they bring happy people bearing flowers? Nope. They bring men with guns. The guns, of course, are at their sides to let you know that your compliance is not voluntary. (I pay my property taxes, by the way, and I'm not opposed to financially supporting local government where it makes sense. I use this as a simple example to point out one way in which the threat of violence is used by government.)

Real peace requires governments to be kept in check

If we truly condemn violence, we must condemn it from all sources, including our own governments which are, strictly speaking, the most violent and murderous organizations in the history of the world. Virtually every mass-murder that has taken place in human history has been carried out by a government claiming to be working for "a better world." (Hitler, Stalin, Mao, you name it...)

This is why the most peaceful society is one in which the government's power is not absolute, and where the government is held in check by the citizenry who watch over the actions of government. This is also precisely why the founding fathers of the United States of America specifically created a limited federal government structure while guaranteeing certain freedoms and rights to the People as enumerated in the Bill of Rights. When Bush was in office, the government took huge steps to weaken that Bill of Rights with the setting up of secret military prisons and the Patriot Act which allows the government to arrest and detain you indefinitely, without being charged, with no attorney, for any reason they claim is related to terrorism.

The Patriot Act, of course, exists in complete violation of the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution. President Obama actually ran on the platform that he would shut down Guantanamo Bay and end the secret military prisons. (There's another broken campaign promise, eh?)

Statistically speaking, the risk of violent acts occurring in any given country is far, far greater when governments rule over their people with absolute tyranny (Mussolini, Hitler, Pol Pot, etc.) than in a more balanced scale of power where governments must answer to the People. The most important way to prevent violence over the long term is to keep government in check and make sure that its power never nullifies the rights of the People.

This is not a conservative nor liberal point of view. This is a practical peace philosophy that recognizes this simple inescapable fact: Most of the violence committed in our world has been committed by governments against their own people (or against the people of other nations).

As someone who finds the application of violence to resolve problems deeply offensive, I am appalled by the mainstream media's "selective" outcry of violent acts in certain selected situations while they ignore the threat of violence used every day by the government itself. The violent resolution of disagreements is unacceptable in a civilized society, yet the media apparently has no problem whatsoever covering their eyes and allowing violence to be committed against the People by the government.

Stop government violence against innocents

That is the real tragedy here. How many more innocents must be killed by acts of violence committed by the government before we will wake up and realize that peace is a two-way street?

When the government stops allowing the poisoning our water supply (fluoride), poisoning our food (GMOs), and the mass poisoning of our children (vaccines and psychiatric medication), the anti-government rhetoric will quickly reflect such changes and naturally morph into something far less confrontational. There is a sensible reason why the anti-government rhetoric of today is so strong: Because government is not listening to the People.

When the federal government bails out rich Wall Street banksters to the tune of trillions of dollars while everyday people are losing their jobs and homes, people tend to get irritated (to say the least). When people are treated like cattle by the TSA and sexually molested for merely trying to travel on an airplane, they tend to not like that very much. When farmers are arrested for selling raw cow's milk to their neighbors, and people who carry homemade chocolate are arrested and treated like drug smugglers, it tends to tee off more than a few citizens.

And when the Obama administration forces us all into buying an insurance police for a sick-care system that we neither use, nor support, nor believe in, people can get downright angry about it. This is not irrational; it is entirely understandable. And it deserves open debate which must include people being able to stand up and point out what's wrong with various government laws, or policies, or regulatory agencies. This is part of the Democratic process.

Maybe instead of asking why so many people are speaking out against the government, the media should be asking why the government has so little respect for the rights and freedoms of the People in the first place.

And perhaps instead of condemning the People so often, the government should spend a little time trying to figure out how to serve the People. That is, of course, what government was supposed to do in the first place: Serve the interests of the People.

Questioning your government is necessary in any functioning democracy

To the extent that government continues to betray the People (FDA, TSA, CDC, etc.), it should surprise no one that the People aren't happy about it. Questioning government is one of the most patriotic acts in which an American citizen can engage, because it is that questioning -- and a demand for accountability -- that forces bureaucrats to answer to the People in some small way.

It is shameful and inexcusable that the mainstream media would now exploit this act of extreme violence committed in Arizona and use it as a condemnation of those who seek to keep their government in check by asking intelligent questions. It's almost as if the media now wants to order Americans to "shut up and do what you're told" because Big Government has all the answers for you. Just take your vaccine shots, buy your rip-off sick-care insurance and keep sweating away to earn a few dollars while the Federal Reserve effectively steals your money by creating trillions of dollars that are used to bail out the world's wealthy elite.

If the mere act of questioning the integrity of the federal government is now going to be blamed for every violent act, then we truly live under a society where the insanity of Jared Loughner has infected the minds of the newsmakers, too. It is a cowardly act to hide behind these deaths in Arizona while shouting out, "The questioners caused this! No more questioning the government!" This is precisely what the government-controlled press announced in the Nazi era. Anyone who dared to ask questions about Hitler's ever-expanding power was arrested and (usually) put to death.

I believe this is a time when, more than ever, we all need to be standing up and asking questions such as: Is the FDA's censorship against healthy nutrition part of the reason we have so much mental illness in America?

There's a question that makes the mainstream media extremely uncomfortable. Pharmaceutical advertising money is at stake, of course, and the last thing the media wants is people asking questions that really threaten to expose the truth behind why so many people in America suffer from mental illness. Hint: It has everything to do with nutrition, which has everything to do with the FDA's tyrannical censorship of free speech about nutritional therapies.

We'll cover more about that in a follow-up story. In the mean time, keep questioning government. It is your duty as a free citizen to do so. It is essential to the health and long-term sustainability of any democracy. It is patriotic and fundamentally necessary for the protection of freedom in a functioning democracy.

Do not let the shooting of Gabrielle Giffords be the beginning of America's jack-booted march down the dark path of stifling Free Speech and demonizing rational dissent.

My heart goes out to Giffords, her staffers and the others who were killed or wounded in this senseless act of violence. I literally pray for a world where all such violence comes to end, including government acts of violence against the People.

Moreover it is being demonstrated how any speech that differs from he status quo is considered hate speech just as anybody who calls the presidets legitimacy into question regarding his citizenship, or speaking out against his policies is considered racist - even if you are not white!

U.S. proposes to open roads to Mexican trucks once again

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The Obama administration on Thursday proposed a new inspection and monitoring regime to permit long-haul trucks from Mexico on U.S. highways after years of delays over safety concerns and political wrangling.

The Transportation Department's compromise seeks to revive efforts to fulfill a key provision of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which is highly unpopular with labor but supported by many businesses as a cost advantage.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood called the plan by his agency a starting point to renew negotiations with Mexico, which has slapped tariffs on U.S. products over the delay.

The Transportation Department said the plan, which would eventually need congressional and Mexican government approval, would prioritize safety and that a formal proposal is due to be announced in coming months.

The countries would negotiate the number of carriers allowed to participate in a first phase. Applicants would be vetted by U.S. law enforcement agencies. Trucking safety programs would be reviewed and each vehicle would be inspected and certified by highway safety and environmental officials.

Prospects for an agreement are uncertain. The plan has failed to move ahead over the past decade regardless of which party controlled the White House or Congress.

But the Obama administration felt more comfortable issuing a proposal with the program's fiercest critics, labor friendly Democrats in the House of Representatives, voted out of office in November or sidelined to the minority. Republicans took over the chamber on Wednesday.

Mexico said it would review the plan, calling it a positive first step, and said tariffs would be lifted after a trucking agreement is completed.

"In general this is very good news," said Humberto Trevino, Mexico's deputy transport minister.

Currently, big rigs from Mexico must offload their goods near the border so U.S. trucks can haul them the rest of the way.

BUSINESS SEES BENEFITS

Allowing cross-border trucking could increase competition, add capacity in the domestic market, and offer other benefits to business.

"We could see a more open Mexican border actually drive more ... freight activity in general, which would benefit the entire trucking industry," said Todd Fowler of KeyBanc Capital Markets.

Among the potential beneficiaries are farmers and livestock producers affected by the billions of dollars in tariffs on agricultural and other goods shipped to Mexico from the United States.

Mexico is a leading importer of U.S. pork, but currently it has a 5 percent duty on that product. It is widely believed the duty was applied in response to the trucking dispute.

"The pork industry has been eagerly awaiting this moment, which should further facilitate pork trade to Mexico," said Rich Nelson, analyst with agriculture advisory firm Allendale Inc.

Labor and consumer groups and their allies in Congress for years blocked the trucking initiative from progressing beyond small pilot programs. They were concerned about safety and potential job losses.

James Hoffa, president of the Teamsters union, called the new move disappointing and another opportunity to open the border "to unsafe trucks." He stressed the move was ill-timed considering the tough economy.

"Why would DOT propose to threaten U.S. truck drivers' and warehouse workers' jobs when unemployment is so high," Hoffa said.

But Tom Donohue, president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, applauded the move. "If we're going to double exports (globally) within five years, we must hold on to export markets, such as Mexico," Donohue said in a statement.

U.S. companies represented by the National Association of Manufacturers said a swift deal on trucking was necessary to counter gains by competitors in Canada, China and South American nations that have increased market share in Mexico.

ObamaCare Shocker! It Costs More & Helps Less!

An early feature of the new health-care law that allows people who are already sick to get insurance to cover their medical costs isn't attracting as many customers as expected.

The White House claimed that 375,000 people needed the help of these subsidies. They were just a wee bit off by say….97%

In the spring, the Medicare program’s chief actuary predicted that 375,000 people would sign up for the pool plans by the end of the year. Early last month, the Health and Human Services Department reported that just 8,000 people had enrolled. HHS officials declined to provide an update, although they collect such figures monthly, because they have decided to report them on a quarterly basis.

“Like the rest of the country, we thought we’d have pretty much a stampede. That obviously hasn’t materialized,” said Michael Keough, executive director of North Carolina’s plan. With nearly 700 participants, it is among the nation’s largest so far, but it has one-third of the people expected by now.

You couldn’t see this coming? Well, Obama didn’t and he allocated 5 billion dollars to the program based on absolutely nothing. It’s like they picked a number out of a hat and that number read 5 billion.

So follow me here:

1. They didn’t have anything to support the $5 billion to create the program.
2. The actual number of people using the system is 97% less than predicted.

Add that up and you can only come up with the fact that Obama and pals don’t have a friggin clue.

He absolutely MUST bring down America’s constitutional republic.

Remember the “Death Panels” we were warned about by Sarah Palin and other conservatives. It was the so-called end-of-life plan written into the original ObamaCare Plan. When the public learned about it, all heck broke loose and the democrats were forced to drop it from the ObamaCare plan.

But never fear. Obama is doing an end run around the national legislature, the Congress, and forcing it on the American people, anyway! ObamaCare supporters refer to it as a “quiet victory.”

Americans MUST get involved in the life of their nation. Why? The election of 2006 and 2008 ought to tell you everything you need to know. We placed our country into the hands of liberal-socialists, called democrats, and they, in turn, have taken America so far down the road of ultimate destruction that our actual survival as a free people is in serious question. The results of both those elections hinged on ignorance and apathy.

The ignorance and apathy of Americans also gave us ObamaCare – and—Obama’s “Death Panels”, government officials deciding who lives and who dies, who receives approved treatment as they approach the end of their lives – and who doesn’t.

And this is just the beginning. It WILL get worse. Trust me.

America has surely entered a time of great tribulation. The handwriting is glaring at us from the wall. America can not continue to survive on the path she chose in the 1960’s and continues on today.

The path to survival is narrow. It is hard, difficult, and certainly not pleasant. The path we are on, the path to destruction, is broad. It is wide and easy – not difficult at all. But at the end lies destruction.

America’s new Congress is going to need all the help it can get from the citizens of this country – even when Congress doesn’t want it.

I intend to aggravate the living daylights out of my congressman, who happens to be a conservative democrat. (I know that is difficult to believe.) The same goes for my Senators—one democrat and one republican. Why… because it is my job as a citizen… and as a father and grandfather.

Napolitano Announces Expansion of Gestapo Zones from Airport to Malls and Hotels

“The United States is stepping up security at ‘soft targets’ like hotels and shopping malls, as well as trains and ports, as it counters the evolving Al-Qaeda threat, a top official said Sunday,” reports AFP.

“We look at so-called soft targets — the hotels, shopping malls, for example — all of which we have reached out to in the past year and have done a fair amount of training for their own employees,” DHS boss Janet Napolitano said.

Big Sis Napolitano knows the government’s “See Something, Say Something” program to acclimate citizens to a police and surveillance state designed to rival anything established by East Germany’s Stasi is more Big Brotherism.

“It just sounds very Big Brother to me, turning in the next door neighbor.” CNN’s Candy Crowley said to Napolitano during an interview on “State of the Union.”

“It’s not,” Napolitano argued. “It depends on the common sense of the American people. I think they have common sense. And it depends on, again … getting through this notion that our safety, our security and the world we live in today is a shared responsibility.”

For bureaucrat Napolitano, the “common sense” of the American people means they will remain timid and apathetic. It means they will not protest and will tolerate going through porno-scanners and having goons stick their hands down their pants before they are allowed to shop at the local mall.

Napolitano defended the ambiguity of the snoop program. She said citizens can figure out for themselves who to snoop on and report to the authorities. Because there is no threat posed by al-Qaeda to the “homeland” – a word Big Sis used during the interview to refer to the United States – the government will receive thousands of calls from people turning in their neighbors for smoking marijuana, disciplining their children, or possessing entirely legal firearms.

“The overall message is everything is objectively better than it was a year ago, particularly in the aviation environment. But we’re also looking at addressing other areas,” Napolitano said about the plan to turn malls and hotels into Gestapo zones where the Bill of Rights does not exist and citizen-subjects are obliged under threat of violence and $11,000 fines to allow minimum wage goons to stick their hands down their pants.

“And so we have enhanced measures going on at surface transportation, not because we have a specific or credible threat there, but because we know, looking at Madrid and London, that’s been another source of targets for terrorists.”

Evidence largely ignored by the corporate media reveals that the Madrid bombings were an inside job. Two patsies, Jose Emilio Suarez Trashorras and Antonio Toro, were government informants, a fact reported by the New York Times and the Times Online. Trashorras had had the private telephone number of the head of Spain’s Civil Guard bomb squad.

In 2005, John Loftus revealed on Fox News that the supposed mastermind of the London bombings, Haroon Rashid Aswat, worked for British intelligence. In 1999, the U.S. Justice Department told prosecutors in Seattle to leave Aswat alone because he was a British intelligence asset.

Napolitano and the government cite the absurd underwear non-bombing as the reason they are aggressively moving the police state from airports to malls and hotels.

“The Detroit Christmas bomber was deliberately and intentionally allowed to keep his US entry visa as the result of a national security override issued by an as yet unknown US intelligence or law-enforcement agency with the goal of blocking the State Department’s planned revocation of that visa,” Webster Griffin Tarpley wrote in February.

Patrick F. Kennedy, Undersecretary of State for Management, revealed this when he testified before the House Homeland Security Committee on January 27.

The underwear non-bomber “Mutallab was a protected patsy being used by rogue elements of the US intelligence community for the deliberate and intentional creation of a high profile incident with the goal of obtaining a large-scale political effect,” argues Tarpley.

The staged event is also providing a pretext to turn malls and hotels into Gestapo zones. It was used earlier this month to promote the government’s snitch program.

It should be obvious where all of this is headed. Following the next staged non-bombing by a clueless patsy, the government will move from malls and hotels into the streets and neighborhoods of America.

He added that energy consumers were more likely to listen to him about the need for reform because he would not be seen as a radical, adding: "People are very receptive when I talk about these things because I'm a Hummer driver not a tree-hugger."

Govt 'creating vast domestic snooping machine'

WASHINGTON — The government is creating a vast domestic spying network to collect information about Americans in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks and subsequent terror plots, The Washington Post reported Monday.

The government is using for this purpose the FBI, local police, state homeland security offices and military criminal investigators, the daily added.

The system collects, stores and analyzes information about thousands of US citizens and residents, many of whom have not been accused of any wrongdoing, the report noted.

The government's goal is to have every state and local law enforcement agency in the country feed information to Washington to buttress the work of the FBI, noted the paper, which has conducted its own investigation of the matter.

According to the report, the network includes 4,058 federal, state and local organizations, each with its own counter-terrorism responsibilities and jurisdictions.

At least 935 of these organizations have been created since the 2001 attacks, The Post said.

The probe has revealed that technologies and techniques developed for use on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan have migrated into the hands of law enforcement agencies in the United States, the paper pointed out.

In addition, the FBI is building a database with the names and personal information of thousands of US citizens and residents, the report said.

The database is accessible to an increasing number of local law enforcement and military criminal investigators, the report noted.

In a bid to counter what is seen as a threat from radical Islam, some law enforcement agencies have hired as trainers people whose extremist views on Islam and terrorism are considered inaccurate and counterproductive by US intelligence agencies, the paper pointed out.

The cost of the network is difficult to measure, the paper said. But the Department of Homeland Security has given 31 billion dollars in grants since 2003 to state and local governments for homeland security and to improve their ability to find and protect against terrorists, The Post said.

Only this year, it gave 3.8 billion dollars to local law enforcement agencies.

Could the Government Shut Down? It's Possible

As senators attempt to wrestle this lame duck session to a close, with threats of extinguishing the Christmas holiday, priorities clashing with the dwindling calendar, and tempers flaring, one senior Senate Democratic leadership aide tells Fox all of this could lead to a government shutdown.

The current stop-gap funding measure (called a Continuing Resolution - or CR, for short) that is keeping the government's doors open, employees paid, and the lights on expires on Saturday at midnight. The House passed a clean extension of the funding measure through fiscal 2011, but Senate Democrats, with the help of some of their Republican colleagues, have put together a $1.2 trillion omnibus spending measure that they want instead.

Many Republicans and a few Democrats have balked at the earmark-laden omnibus and have pledged to hold it up at all costs, though supporters have noted the pork accounts for less than 1% of the measure. Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky, who previously had earmarks inserted into the bill but now says he's opposed to the directed spending, said Wednesday that the chamber should, instead, pass a short-term CR to fund the government through February.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev, is expected to call up the omnibus sometime Thursday, and Republicans, including Sen. Jim DeMint, R-SC, are expected to pounce, demanding that the 1,924-page bill that was just introduced this week be read aloud by the clerks in the chamber, a move that is estimated to take about 35-40 hours.

That gets the Senate to sometime Saturday before Reid can even begin the procedural process to shut down the GOP filibuster. Once Reid files for cloture, a procedure that shuts down debate, technically there must be one intervening day before the cloture vote.

That would leave the government shut down on Sunday, as well as Monday, when the Senate would just be voting to end the blockade, a move that requires 60 votes. Final passage, technically-speaking, would then come after a 30-hour clock has run out, putting the Senate into late Monday or early Tuesday before final passage.

Then the measure must travel to the House, where House Republicans, staunchly against the earmarks in the omnibus bill, have vowed to work against the measure. More time must be expended to get to final passage there before the feds get their money.

If the government does shut down, this Democratic aide said, "It's not our fault," noting the GOP slowdown of the schedule.

One senior Senate GOP leadership aide took exception to that, telling Fox, "Talking about shutting down the government is not a win. We're two and a half weeks past the deadline for spending bills, and we're now on a treaty. We're not on a funding bill. And tomorrow morning, what will we be doing? A treaty. We didn't ask to go to the treaty."

All of that said, a number of aides on both sides of the aisle are expecting that cooler heads will eventually prevail, and the Senate will reach an agreement to wrap up the issue of funding the government by Saturday evening, in order to avert a government shutdown.

ATC Says - During a government shutdown all government employees are furloughed. Essential employees (law enforcement, military, first responders, etc.) are still required to show up for work, although they're technically not being paid. Non-essential employees are not required to show up for work.To my knowledge, the post office hasn't gotten direct federal funding in almost 30 years, so I don't think it would be affected by a shutdown.....although I could be wrong about this.

Unemployment checks would also stop coming......as well as other government entitlement programs such as food stamps, medicare and other taxpayer draining systems. Oh, and for those receiving social security checks........forget-a-bout-it.........If the post office is affected by this then I feel sorry for those people paying bills, or sending gifts that may be held up as a result of this, and if your bill is late - man the late fees .....and it's not even your fault!

Is it any surprise to anybody that the demonrats (Democrats) would try to add 1 trillion dollars to this massive bill including 9 billion dollars in pork barrel spending as we approach the Christmas holiday.........sneeky dirty underhanded politics ......and where is obama on this while bella-lagosi in the house is holding up the passage of his tax deal......not a peep....oh no certainly not against his own party! These politicians are playing with our lives while they play a game of politics and the demonrats try to use their opposition to this Omnibus bill in a desperate attempt to blame the Republicans of shutting down the government. and everybody's taxes increases Jan, 1 2011.......

One last thing of note, the last time this happened was in 1995 under Slick Willie Clinton......and the govt shut down......isn't it interesting how Obama and slick willie are such great pals that he can duck out of cover and let clinton handle the tax deal negotiations and take the flack for him.......Had enough of being a pawn yet people?

DHS confirms it's cheaper to deport every illegal alien than allowing them to stay

On December 3, Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs, Nelson Peacock, responding to request from several U.S. Senators, including Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), wrote: “Our conservative estimate suggests that ICE would require a budget of more than $135 billion to apprehend, detain and remove the nation’s entire illegal immigrant population.”

In July 2010, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) released the results of a study which examined the costs of illegal immigration at the federal, state and local levels. The study found that U.S. state and local governments shell out $84.2 billion annually in various services (law enforcement, schools, social services, etc.), with California taxpayers alone, spending $21 billion on illegal aliens every year.

The same study found that $29 billion is spent every year in federal funds on illegal aliens.

So, while it would cost a one-time fee of about $135 billion to deport every single illegal alien in the country, it is actually a bargain considering the fact that it already costs us $113 billion annually to keep them here.

In other words, the mass deportation would pay for itself in a little over a year.

Incidentally, in 2007, the DHS estimated the cost of deporting all illegal aliens to be approximately $94 billion.

But wait. There are those who say that asking for I.D. if someone might be in the country ILLEGALLY, is tantamount to racial profiling. The ACLU and the current presidential administration is so adamant about preventing law enforcement from asking people for I.D., that they’ve sued our own sovereign state of Arizona for passing an anti-ILLEGAL immigration law. Not only that, they’ve solicited support from — you guessed it — other countries from South America and from the UN. In other words, President Obama lobbied for support outside the country against one of our own sovereign states, for passing a domestic law that gives police officers a right to ask about immigration status IF that person has been legally detained for another lawful reason. AGAINST OUR OWN STATE!

What a guy, that Barack Obama. Aren’t you just proud to call this man our president?

Meanwhile, his legal lackey, Eric Holder, happily dismissed charges against OBVIOUS voter intimidation violators in the 2008 election, without reason. His staff was so incensed, that one of the top prosecutors in the Justice Department resigned in protest. This is the same Attorney General, (lackey for the president) who chose to bring international war criminals, i.e. terrorists, into a New York State civilian courtroom instead of a military tribunal. In the most recent trial against Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani, so much evidence was thrown out that the prosecution lost 284 out of 285 counts of criminal behavior against him.

So, what’s going on folks? Can you imagine a Dwight Eisenhower, or a JFK, or a Ronald Reagan seeking legal support from other countries against one of our states? It is beyond mind-boggling.

Past presidents, like Herbert Hoover, Harry Truman and Dwight Eisenhower enacted presidential decrees ordering sweeps of illegals for deportation, so that Americans could have jobs following the great depression and the end of wars when soldiers were coming home. Not this president. File suit against Arizona, that’s his response. Whine to the UN, that’s his response. Suck up to third world countries, like Bolivia, Venezuela and Mexico, to fight Arizona.

I always did have doubts about his loyalty as an American. He never sways me.

During the Bush administration and now Obama’s, the pat answer to all of America’s woes concerning the multi-violated border, has been the so-called need for “Comprehensive Immigration Reform,” which — translated — is nothing more than a path for amnesty.

Meanwhile, immigrants who have followed the law and earned their citizenship are aghast to see that breaking immigrations laws might have had its rewards after all.

They are not all “undocumented workers.” No one knows what percentage of the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in America are actually here to work, or what percentage are here to steal, join gangs, traffic drugs or even engage in terrorist activities. But one thing we do know, is that the federal government has shamefully failed to secure the borders and to effectively enforce laws against illegal crossings. The government is more interested in the rights of illegal immigrants, than the rights of law-abiding, tax-paying Americans. How pathetic can it get?

It’s a cop’s job to ask questions. The law proposed by Florida Senator Mike Bennett simply gives authority for cops to ask about legal status when a suspect has violated a law. Opponents have no logical argument against, other than the same worn-out cliches about “racial profiling.”

Police officers of 2011 walk on eggshells to avoid the mere appearance of profiling, to the detriment of public safety. The term has been used and abused by politicians as a scare tactic to propel their amnesty agenda. Unfortunately, too many people fall for it.

Every poll, both state wide and national, shows that the American people are overwhelmingly in favor of the Arizona anti-ILLEGAL immigration law. Maybe someone should inform our president?

ATC Says - So I am a LEGAL American citizen (emphasis on LEGAL!) and there are many instances as a LEGAL Citizen where, in going about my day-to-day business, that I must present my ID (i.e. papers) to prove who I am........This happens to all of us irregardless or our race. Here are just a few:

1. Pulled over by the police.
2. Making purchases on my department store credit card.
3. When I show up for a doctor's appointment.
4. When filling out a credit card or loan application.
5. When applying for or renewing a driver's license or passport.
6. When applying for any kind of insurance.
7. When filling out college applications.
8. When donating blood.
9. When obtaining certain prescription drugs.
10. When making some debit purchases, especially if I'm out of state.
11. When collecting a boarding pass for airline or train travel.

I'm sure there are more instances, but the point is that we citizens of the USA are required to prove who we are nearly every day!

Why should people in this country illegally, be exempt!!!!!

In pushing Obama health care, Nancy Pelosi dismisses authority of US Constitution!

(NaturalNews) - Yesterday, U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson ruled that a key provision in Obama's health care plan violates the US Constitution. The "minimum essential coverage provision," Judge Hudson ruled, would force American consumers to buy a government-mandated insurance product whether they wish to buy it or not. There is no provision in the US Constitution that grants Congress the power to force consumers to buy into such a monopoly -- the very idea seems ludicrous.

But not to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. She believes that her power to force Americans to purchase whatever products and services the government wants them to buy is somehow granted by the Constitution.

In what is now seen as a curiously instructive question-and-answer exchange, one year ago Nancy Pelosi engaged in the following dialog with CNS News:

CNSNews.com: "Madam Speaker, where specifically does the Constitution grant Congress the authority to enact an individual health insurance mandate?

Pelosi: "Are you serious? Are you serious?"

Pelosi then shook her head before taking a question from another reporter. Her press spokesman, Nadeam Elshami, then told CNSNews.com that asking the speaker of the House where the Constitution authorized Congress to mandated that individual Americans buy health insurance as not a "serious question."

"You can put this on the record," said Elshami. "That is not a serious question. That is not a serious question."

Absolute power need not explain itself

What's clear from this exchange is that Nancy Pelosi believes Congress has absolute power over the people to simply invent whatever mandates, requirements or restrictions it wants, regardless of what powers were actually granted to the Congress under the US Constitution.

It is the Constitution, after all, to which Congress owes its existence in the first place. Certain, specific powers are granted to the Congress under the Constitution, with the remainder of powers being reserved to the People or the States. Nowhere in the Constitution do the founding fathers of our nation grant Congress the power to force the American people to spend their money on government-favored monopoly service providers -- and that's precisely what Obamacare mandates.

The question of where Congress gets its authority to enact such mandates is an intelligent and reasonable question that any lawmaker should be willing to answer. But instead of answering this question, Nancy Pelosi simply dismisses it as ridiculous.

Her aide says, "That is not a serious question." But I disagree. I believe it is the most serious question of all. Because if the US Congress is now acting outside its limited powers and simply rewriting the Constitution to match whatever political whims it fancies at the moment, then the freedom of our Republic is lost and we already live under tyrannical rule.

Tyrants do not answer pesky questions from the little people

Time and time again, we now see modern bureaucrats dismissing the very notion that even asking about the source of their authority is a legitimate question. To question the authority of Congress now seems to be regarded as something of an act of terrorism. How dare you question your King?

Remember, it is the duty of all free citizens to slap the hands of government when it threatens to overreach its limited authority. With yesterday's ruling, U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson slapped the hands of both Nancy Pelosi and President Obama, sending them a clear message that you cannot simply steamroll over the Constitution and mandate whatever laws and rules you'd like to see realized in your own megalomaniacal fantasies.

There are protections in the Constitution that were put there precisely to protect the People from tyrants. That is, in fact, the primary purpose of the Bill of Rights -- to protect the People from the inevitably expansion of power by bureaucrats who always seek to control more, regulate more, and accumulate more power in taking over more and more areas of everyday life that should be left up to free people.

Your decision of what kind of doctor you wish to choose -- conventional versus naturopathic or complementary, for example -- is your decision, not the government's decision. For Big Government to mandate that all people must spend thousands of dollars a year to support a failed, disastrously harmful conventional medical system that actually kills over half a million Americans a year is extremely unethical if not downright illegal.

And yet that's exactly what Obama's health care law attempts to do. It seeks to force you to participate in a government-protected sick-care monopoly. And if you choose not to participate, you'll get a little visit from IRS agents who will simply extract the required money from your bank account... by force if necessary.

That such a scheme could be advocated by Nancy Pelosi and other bureaucrats in Washington tells you just how far they've already marched down the seductive path of government tyranny.

It is up to people like you and me to resist this tyranny and stand up for our Constitutional protections so that we may live as free citizens, with our free choice intact, and without the government forcing us to participate in a failed health care system that, statistically speaking, harms far more people than it helps.

Let us hope that the US Supreme Court will also have the wisdom to recognize the constitutional violations in this health care legislation and strike it down.

WikiLeaks Being Used to Justify "Patriot Act" Legislation For Internet

Senator Mitch McConnell called Assange a "high-tech terrorist" on NBC's Meet the Press Sunday and said, "if it‘s found that Assange hasn’t violated the law, then the law should be changed."

Over the weekend, an insightful article by Zen Gardner exposed how WikiLeaks resembles an establishment creation. The article correctly pointed out that the WikiLeaks storyline was conforming nicely to the elite's problem-reaction-solution method, with the solution of more tyranny for our safety. WikiLeaks is being used to bring in the agenda on so many levels, but most importantly by setting the precedent of shutting down websites for politically "dangerous" content. Gardner writes:

After all, if information is now the enemy, we must carefully police any and every aspect of this dangerous medium -- all for the safety and protection of 'we the people.'

Oh, we’ll still have the Internet, just like you can still fly. You’ll just have to be on the 'approved' list, screened, stamped, zapped, mugged and molested if you want to get 'on the net.' No biggie. Thanks Julian -- job well done.

First, let's be clear, the 250,000 pages of cables amounted to some geopolitical Jerry Springer he-said-she-said nonsense to make countries look petty and stupid. They revealed nothing new that wasn't already known or well suspected. The information simply stoked existing flames by airing geopolitical dirty laundry, nothing more -- no secret weapons, no major arms deals, no tactical locations of troops, and no revealing the ID of secret agents, etc.

Yet, the government has used its corporate muscle to illegally limit access to WikiLeaks. It was recently revealed that Amazon, the server host for WikiLeaks, caved to political pressure to drop the website. Then, in dictatorial fashion, PayPal removed its service for donations to WikiLeaks, and now their bank account has been frozen. And all this comes a week after the shutdown of 80-plus websites for "copyright infringement," apparently in preparation for passing the "Blacklist" bill.

Now, Gardner's weekend speculation and McConnell's call for action has turned into political reality. The Hill reports today that Senators unveil anti-WikiLeaks legislation, which seems to be a sort-of "Patriot Act" for the Internet. It's astonishing how fast these guys can write legislation when major events occur. And again, it's tyranny-saurus rex, Joe Lieberman, leading the charge with scandal-ridden Ensign (R-Nev.) and empty-suit Scott Brown (R-Mass.). Ensign was quoted:

WikiLeaks is not a whistleblower website and Assange is not a journalist.

That, we agree with. Yet, therein lies the concern for establishing new Internet rules of what can and can't be discussed, and who qualifies as a "journalist." Look, Assange is clearly either a kinda-smart "useful idiot" or a brilliant insider to the elite. He is certainly not a genuine whistleblower. Admittedly, though, for those of us who hoped he was the real thing, the elite have used some savvy tactics to boost WikiLeaks' rogue credibility in order to confuse us. The White House has sent down a warning to government agencies to restrict employee access to WikiLeaks in order to make Assange and crew appear dangerously off limits. Apparently, this warning has already trickled down to "potential" government employees as well. It was revealed that the State Department warned Columbia University students who may apply for a Federal job:

DO NOT post links to these documents nor make comments on social media sites such as Facebook or through Twitter.

In other words, the Thought Police are out in full force telling job-hungry students to not apply if they discuss current events if authorities label those events dangerous or harmful to America. Soon, they'll most likely publicly fire a mid-level employee who went over the line to prove how serious they are. After all, they desperately need to keep the slaves on the plantation. Furthermore, an Interpol arrest warrant has been issued for Julian Assange for shady rape charges, making him an internationally "wanted" man.

And Assange is playing the clever but likable villain part so well, too, claiming to have an encrypted "insurance" file in case anyone kills him or terminates the website.

Assange is the perfect international man of mystery with the dark shades in press conferences; endless mainstream media interviews with his exotic accent and short temper; and his famous silver-blond locks. What a great show they're putting on for us. I'm sure the movie industry is already clamoring for the rights to the script. In the meantime, it has become the typical political game show.

Only in America could Cablegate become such a divide-and-conquer partisan issue. The Right have successfully defined WikiLeaks as a dangerous terrorist organization and desire the assassination of its leader, while the Left defends the public's right to knowledge, but disparages the damage the documents may cause, thus setting up the obvious bipartisan compromise: tighter control and surveillance of the Internet. It will go down like this: the Right's extreme calls for Assange's execution will give the establishment the publicly defensible compromise to at least shut down their website by way of pressuring their service providers, etc.

And the wimpy Left will compromise by letting it happen, while Assange will be allowed to remain alive and free. It fits ever so perfectly for them to extend the definition of an "enemy combatant" to a website that publishes "anti-government" material. Enter Attorney General Eric Holder, who has authorized "significant" action into the probe of WikiLeaks. Can't you just smell the tyranny coming to the Internet?

Ron Paul said it best in his book Revolution: A Manifesto: "Truth is treason in an empire of lies." Paul reiterated this principle of transparency in a recent interview. Paul said we need more WikiLeaks if we expect to live in a free society:

'In a free society we're supposed to know the truth,' Paul insisted. 'In a society where truth becomes treason, then we're in big trouble.'

Given the angry calls for action and today's developments of government proposals, not to mention the blight of Internet legislation already on the table, we will likely get the exact opposite of the free-flow of information that Paul is advocating. In fact, if history is any indicator, get ready for nothing less than the Patriot Act for the Internet!

ATC Says - Of interest to note is that Julian Assange is now under arrest and is being held in custody by London Police where his lawyer is fighting against an extradition order by the Swedish Government on what appears to be conveniently timed trumped up rape charges....on that - time will tell. But it is interesting that he is not being charged with the releasing of sensitive documents. I find it odd that such an issue involving our Top Secret files would be a matter of more import and that the President and the Dept of In-Justice would be all over this. Isn't it interesting how a lowly Private had access to over 1million pages of sensitive files? What about him.....I for one never had a problem with Assange, from my point of view, he was merely disseminating files that were given to him by third party - His crime, - giving the people a bit of transparency in Obama's otherwise opaque administration!

This whole distraction is now being used to user in this "e-Patriot Act" - oh the liberals remember that one with their hanging or burning effigies of Bush or him with a Hitler mustache! I wonder how these same liberals will feel now as this Democrat President resurrects it's very spirit and moves to limit their access and FREE speech on the internet! Will Chris Mathews of CNN still get that same tingle down his leg? When will people see this for what it is and stand up against it? Is their any fight left in anybody anymore?

Oil Drilling Moratorium is an Act of Treason

In October, a study by the Maguire Energy Institute at Southern Methodist University concluded that the reduction of shallow water oil drilling permits that followed the BP oil spill would put as many as 40,000 jobs at risk and cost the region $4.3 billion in lost wages and revenues.

At the same time, a consortium of foreign oil companies led by the Spanish firm, Repsol, working with India’s state-run Oil & Natural Gas Company and Norway’s StatoilHydro are exploring for oil off the coast of Cuba where drilling in its waters will proceed even while American and other oil companies will be denied access to vast reserves off the coasts of all of the Gulf States.

From Alaska to Florida, offshore of California or any of the East Coast States, Obama is destroying America’s energy future in the same fashion his administration has done everything in its power to shut down the nation’s coal mining industry.

Here are the statistics that demonstrate how dependent we are on fossil fuels: In total they provide 84.9% of the energy Americans use. Of that, coal provides 22.4% and oil represents 39.2%, while natural gas accounts for 23.2%. In March, Gov. Joe Manchin of West Virginia, a Democrat, said, “President Obama has made his intentions to bankrupt the coal industry clear. EPA’s actions this week demonstrate that he will wage a war against the energy source that generates half of America’s electricity and is our nation’s most abundant, reliable, and affordable energy sources.”

Gov. Manchin said that estimates were that the administration’s actions would affect 65,000 members of the Appalachian workforce who would lose some of the highest-paying jobs available in the region. At least $12 billion in lost economic development was forecast.

Nor is the Obama attack on the nation’s energy supply restricted to coal and oil.

In October, the Obama administration demanded $880 million in exchange for a $7.5 billion loan guarantee necessary to the construction of a Maryland nuclear facility. The plant would have generated thousands of jobs as well as needed megawatts of electricity for that State’s residents. The project was cancelled.

State by State as America ceases to mine its own coal and loses access its own oil reserves, the prices of energy which will have to be imported will rise while thousands of jobs related to these industries disappear, wrecking the economies of entire communities and delaying the recovery of energy-rich States.

These are acts of treason against the nation, if not in the narrow legalistic definition, but in the larger context of the harm being done to a nation for which affordable, abundant energy has been at the core of its economy and well-being.

The moratorium is the equivalent of an act of war on the ability of Americans to have the energy they need to recover from the present economy, to provide the jobs necessary to that recovery, and to fuel everything from the utilities that generate electricity and the nation’s fleet of trucks that transport the vast bulk of all goods.

This agenda of economic destruction has been carried out since Obama took office in 2009. It is the reason Obamacare was inflicted on the nation, asserting control over one sixth of the nation’s economy. It is the reason the government took over General Motors and Chrysler. It is the reason Obama failed to come back from South Korea with a trade treaty and has stalled others in the pipeline.

In countless ways, the engine of the federal government is being used to betray and impoverish Americans.

Cry treason! For that is what it is.

From the very onset of this Muslim President taking office, everything he has implemented has done nothing but to further damage the economy of this country and gut the middle class - and now with this moratorium which is effectively killing thousands of more jobs that his administration is supposedly working so hard to protect - well, that is when he's not off on another overpriced vacation at our expense that is! Has anybody ever seen such a president before who has done so little for this country yet feel so inclined to take so many vacations in your life? Aside from the loss in jobs that this moratorium brings, it further deepens our dependence of foreign oil from people who not only happen to be muslims like our president, but do not hold the best interests of America at heart and in many ways help to supply and arm our enemies through subterfuge.....And all this for what - to further his green agenda by continuing to assault the coal and oil producing industry.....Even though the man-caused global warming science has been revealed to be the masterbatory fantasy of Al Gore....and exaggerations of several liberal scientists!... I dread to see the state this country will be left in when we are finally free of this President and his liberal CON-gress' policies and hope that there will be a lesson learn t here by the fools who were duped by him and elected him to power (Those gullible sheeple) but I doubt it.........liberalism is a disease and a blight on this country's prosperity.....its is a destructive mindset not only aimed at the moral decline of our great nation, the feminization of our military, allows for the destruction of our cultural identity though unchecked immigration, and our ability to defend ourselves from our enemies......Obama is about as likely to be impeached as he is to be brought up before a federal judge regarding his Citizenship and legitimacy to be the president of the United States! So, since it more than appears that we cannot usurp this criminal regime through the courts, we can only continue to fight it and resist it as best that we can while operating within the realm of law...... Socialist Regime Moves For Control of The Internet FCC will take first steps to control the Internet

It’s called “Net Neutrality.” Sounds fair, right? I mean -- that’s what the liberal-socialist democrats are all about, right? Fairness is their utmost priority, right? Why, they’d never do anything to limit the freedom of Americans … riiiiight?

If you believe all that, then prepare yourself for a rude awakening.

When a political movement intends to takeover a nation’s government, one of the very first things it absolutely MUST DO … is take control of that nation’s communications networks. It must be able to control access to communications if it expects its efforts to be successful.

I began warning readers that the Obama Regime would make an effort to take over the Internet from the early days of the Obama reign. It was as plain as the nose on my face that to make the fundamental change in America that Obama swore he would make, then he would have to gain control of the nations communications. There have been very few successful revolutions in modern history in which the broadcasting stations, networks, and newspapers were not first compromised, or taken over completely by the revolutionaries -- or just shut down.

The Internet is a “thorn in the flesh” of the liberal-socialists in the current American government. It gives them NIGHTMARES!

Conservative bloggers have been the cause of great consternation in the White House and the West Wing and even to those liberal-socialist senators and congresspersons on The Hill. They have been seething with anger at the ability of conservatives to get disseminate their message of Obama’s shadow government and his sub-rosa strategy to convert America to a European style socialist state, not only to Americans, but around the globe -- at the click of a mouse.

Their embarrassment when confronted by fellow socialist leaders in countries they favor, such as Venezuela and Cuba, is overwhelming. And they can bear it no longer!

So, they have decided they must make the initial step to grab control of the Internet and bring it to heel as a servant of the socialist regime of Obama.

Never mind that the courts have already told them the Federal Communications Commission has no authority to regulate the Internet. They are going to do it anyway. This is typical of the socialist Obama Regime. They have been ruling against the will of the American people since day one.

The National Journal reports, in an article by David Hatch and Eliza Krigman, the following: “The chairman of the Federal Communications Commission unveiled a new initiative today he said would preserve the openness of the Internet but that critics attacked on two fronts, with watchdog groups saying it watered down the Web's egalitarian roots and conservatives saying it opened the door to excessive regulation.”
The report goes on to say: “The proposal split the agency along party lines, with the five-member commission’s two GOP members quickly condemning it and setting the stage for a partisan vote that could draw a backlash next year from the GOP-controlled House.

“I strongly oppose this ill-advised maneuver. Such rules would upend three decades of bipartisan and international consensus that the Internet is best able to thrive in the absence of regulation,” wrote Robert McDowell, the FCC’s senior Republican.

GOP member Meredith Attwell Baker warned: “We do not have authority to act. The new majority of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce has asked the commission not to circulate this order, and a clear majority of all members of Congress has expressed concern with our Internet policies. Whether the Internet should be regulated is a decision best left to the directly elected representatives.”

The report continues: “The fight over “network neutrality” has been brewing for years and has divided much of the telecom industry and Congress, with many conservative Democrats joining Republicans in opposition. While the topic may seem technical and obscure, it boils down to a question of whether the Internet remains an open platform in which every website is on equal footing, or whether fast lanes are established that grant priority treatment to websites and online services willing to pay for such privileges.” (You may read the entire article (HERE).)

I am convinced this is the “foot in the door” for which the Obama Regime has been searching.
But it is all about “fairness” ... right? Allow me to ask this: How are conservative bloggers going to feel when they are ORDERED by the FCC to place links to opposing viewpoints, espoused by some left-wing socialist, on their blogs? Oh, its coming if the new Congress doesn’t bring the FCC to heel … and fast!

We suggest the US House of Representatives shut off all funding to the FCC until they back off their socialist scheme to control this nation’s communications via the Internet. Plus, we ask for a bill to be introduced in the House to make it unlawful for the FCC, the FTC, or any other government agency, to regulate the Internet.

It is time to speak up for freedom of speech, once again. It is time to defend the Internet from those who intend to take it over and, ultimately use it to champion socialist, left wing causes and spread their liberal-socialist venom into practically every home in America.

As in every war victory comes by winning one battle at a time. Do not deceive yourself. We are at war for the freedom of Americans. One of our most effective weapons is the Internet. We cannot allow it to be taken from us. I am convinced that is exactly what the FCC, under the Obama Regime, intends to do.
